  Is anyone gonna throw me a bone here.( I know OUTLAW has something funny to say about that) But should I hide who I am and have a fake name and sh*t or what why do I have to be worried if someone finds out I'm on this site?

  What's the big deal with alias'. Should I have anything to hide like who I am or where I live? If anyone wants to know why shouldn't I tell them? I'm kinda new here so is there something I should know?

  On spanking your children...

  i posted about this on my own website, but i'd like to get thoughts here as well, since jw's are big proponents of the 'violence is the answer' side of this debate.. new research is suggesting that spanking children may result in lowered iq's.

  (la times article) one hypothosis i've read elsewhere as to why this may be is because when faced with an unexpected result (the glass broke) the non-spanked child wonders why the glass broke and how much abuse a glass can take before breaking (essentually, the problem-solving/scientific parts of the mind find the unexpected result interesting, and want to learn more).

  the spanked child immediately enters fear mode - he's in trouble, his parents will be dealing him pain soon.

  I was raised on spankings, I don't know of any other way. I have a 2 year old that sometimes just won't listen. What else can you do that works? He's a pretty tough kid. I mean he's not sensitive or nothing. I can talk to him sometimes and he will listen but when he's with momma while I'm at work if she doesn't spank him he walks all over her. I'd love to hear some advise that works.

  If the message they teach is so important, why not use the televison? Or make it available on-line to anyone? The reason why is because they are a printing company and need to sell their magazines, books, brochures, and tracts.

  have you ever noticed how in the kingdom halls who have a mix of races, you find the whites sit in one area of the kingdom hall, and the blacks have their own section?

  the district conventions and circuit assemblys too.

  i've noticed one particular section where there were just black people who made up about 20% of the dc and the rest were white.

The District Conventions and Circuit Assemblys too. I've noticed one particular section where there were just black people who made up about 20% of the DC and the rest were white. It was obvious to me about 10-15 years ago, and I was wondering if things kinda have evened out, or if you also noticed the same thing.
