I know at a DC convention the main speaker had a group of about 6 body guards around him. I knew the speaker and was going to just say " hey" and he had to tell them he knew me before I could speak to him . They listened in. They followed him everywhere, surrounding him. That is a Bodyguard*(s).

i have never been to a convention quite like this before.
a very friendly vibe all around, lots of banners and posters with sayings like "sending love to all our brothers", "see you in the paradise", "ecuador sends greetings", and "jehovahs-witness.net" (okay, i lied on that last one...).
Texas was once the Republic of Texas and its flag was on equal basis with usa flag ( or any country). We are not a country now but out of respect for what we were, our flag flies at same level( like our country) as usa flag.

I would like to think that women see through this juvenile tom-foolery and have the courage to hit the road and never look back.
You know the answer to this. It is a lifestyle that women are born into and hard to get out of .Just like any kind of abuse, it chips away at your self esteem.

I believe your account is true, Blue , b/c I knew someone who had friends at the Bethel. He said it was a business and that was moslty it. He said they knew the dates 1914 etc were wrong but too many careers depended on keeping this delusion going. He and his wife were bisexual ( and had bee many years) and had many firends among the elite. They had many fringe jws friends. Someone how he managed to make it to the end of his life without being DF. He was protected by many. I felt sick knowing this. He confirmed what I'd always thougt- the WTS will go out of their way to protect MEN who become invoved in sin , including child molestation. They will throw women ( who are not well connected) to the wind. What a rotten org, know better and in many cases worse than the "world" they hated so much.
