Erm, paragraphs wouldn't have gone amiss....
I'm sorry, can you explain to me what "faith" is Journey-On?
almost everyone has seen someone pray over the food at the dinner table, you know bless this food to our bodies and our bodies to your service, but tell the truth when was the last time god answered you?
ah like never?
so still we go on with the ritual of praying because some how its what god expects right?

howdy guy's and gal's,.
both king agag and myself are attempting to write an article on blood fractions for our blog, jwb.
thing is, we would require scientific evidence (sources from journals, etc.
Cheers JWFacts for that.

Thanks to V (I do miss him), I have the original Kingdom Ministry. Does anyone have any scientific proof that the fractions being used can be likened to whole blood? For example, I have seen some comments on here that talk about red blood cells being 97% of blood, with the further 3% being water. Is this true?
Any help would be great.
Kind regards,
Carlos
so far i've managed to avoid speaking to the elders who drop by.
just wondering if they'll eventually give up in a couple years.
anyone have experience with this?.
Yep and I've successfully got my wife out to thanks to the information I found on this forum.
http://www.jehovahswitnessblog.com/2010/08/how-many-significant-trees-were-there.html.
were there one or two trees?.
if you said one; the tree of knowledge of good and bad, you'd be wrong.

If you said one; the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, you'd be wrong. If, by the magic of chance, you guessed there were two trees; the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad and the Tree of Life, you'd be spot on.
Please open your bibles with me to Genesis chapter 2, verse 9.
"Thus Jehovah God made to grow out of the ground every tree desirable to one’s sight and good for food and also the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and bad." - New World (Masonic Alert - Masonic Alert) Translation
Interesting, isn't it. Now then, we come to the crux of the conundrum. Why oh why, do ALL Christian religions rarely talk about the Tree of Life?
The answer can be found in the bible. Please turn with me to Genesis chapter 3, verse 22..........
For those that have read the article, what do you make of it?
Kind regards,
Carlos
isn't it weird how so few know that there were actually two major trees in the garden of eden account.. there was the tree of knowledge (of good and bad) and there was also the tree of life.. genesis chapter 3 makes is quite clear that god banished adam and eve from the garden and placed an angel to guard the tree of life, so that they might not eat from it again.
is this implying that the two perfect humans had to eat from the tree in order to have eternal life?
if not, why protect it?.

I did some mulling over this point and realised that the main reason all Christian religions/cults gloss over this fact, is that it would make Jesus' ransom sacrifice null and void. Think about it for a minute or so. If perfection meant that you didn't live forever, but needed to eat from a tree to do so, why did Jesus die for our sins? What purpose would that serve?
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Cheers,
Carlos
short review: the elders "invited" me to a friendly chat with 3 elders.
i told them since it's about my official status with jw's i request an official invitation in writing.
they denied it, and went ahead and kept the jc without me, notifying me that i'm df'd and if i want to appeal, send it in writing (btw: .
I haven't been summoned to a Judicial yet, although I have been told by my cousin (an elder) that the elders are trying to find a reason for me to be disfellowshipped.
I visited my lawyer 6 weeks or so ago and told him what happens when one is "disfellowshipped".
"Well Carlos, that is defamation of character, which falls under the "defamtion, libel and slander act under common law". My lawyer has insisted that he be taken along to any future JC and has already virtually guaranteed me that if I am to be disfellowshipped, the elders would not be allowed to disclose this information to their wives or friends. Neither could any announcement about me not being one of Jehovah's Witnesses be conducted.
I would be disfellowshipped, but only the 3 elders, the society, my lawyer and I would know about it. If it did get out, my lawyer has encouraged me to file a case against the society within my country of residence.
Has anyone else done this? The laws that govern my country of residence are taken from the British Common Law system. I am sure it is different in the States and other countries.

i recieved this e-mail earlier today after making an issue out of the paedophile problem on my facebook page.
obviously, this person is a jw and someone must have snitched to her.. what did you think?.
hope you are well.
I would reply and tell her to fu*k off.
when i was younger (from the moment i could reason and remember), i didn't like going to the meetings, having a weekly bible study or going out on the ministry.
in fact, i didn't like to do any "theocratic" stuff.. i would of course, get beaten up by my loving zealous pioneer mother due to my rebellious nature.. funny thing was, that even from the age of 5, i knew something was wrong with this religion (cult).
at the age of 16, i decided that i simply didn't believe in any of it, but i didn't leave as my mother threatened to make me homeless if i stopped going to the meetings.

I had a friend that was also made homeless. Frank died 8 months after. He hadn't even turned 17. I was simply too scared to stop.
I left home at 17 and left "the truth ™ ".
So then, did any of you realise at a very young age that something was terribly wrong?
Carlos
mine's was, if your job interfere with the meetings you have to decide who you will choose,.
serving jehovah or serving man, if anyone knew my needs it most definitely was jehovah.
and he knew i needed my job to eat.
I was told that I had to close my eyes and thank an imaginary friend each and every time I decided to eat something and before going to bed.
