Right To Die?
by hamilcarr inor a government ban on assisted suicide?.
assisted suicide of healthy 79-year-old renews german debate on right to die.
roland magunia/agence france-presse getty imagesby mark landlerpublished: july 3, 2008frankfurt when roger kusch helped bettina schardt kill herself at home on saturday, the grim, carefully choreographed ritual was like that in many cases of assisted suicide, with one exception.. ms. schardt, 79, a retired x-ray technician from the bavarian city of wurzburg, was neither sick nor dying.

Shunned again
by tak inmy son called me yesterday, first time in probably 6 weeks, because he lost his car keys, the car is in my name, so i had to get another set from the dealership.
anyways, it doesn't really matter what he called about, it was just in 6 weeks he only calls because he needs something, not a peep before that (very hurtful).
a brother drove him to my office and it was quittin time so i went outside with him and gave him the keys, i was hurt and didn't say much to him.

JW's unwritten dress code and personal appearance standards-FROM WHERE?
by Thechickennest inone thing that always use to puzzle me was the personal appearance standards, espessially for meetings and service.
the men always were expected to where a tie, suit, jacket, etc.
no beards were allowed-mustaches were ok!

Confusion about Bible reading
by faundy inthe society seems to make a huge thing about reading the bible daily, and yet they have a problem when people do so without the 'aids' - i.e the publications.
so is bible reading on its own frowned upon?
i never did it anyway, it was boring.
