  That is the part that I thought was a bit exaggerated. And you are very correct that it would turn the JW's off.

  "I don't know if it affected any of you like this, but I would and sometimes still do have nightmares about Jehovah destroying me and my family, different scenerios, but all very frightining. Thankfully the nightmares are starting to subside and I don't freak out everytime there is a bad storm, I am just waiting for my unfounded fear to end, then I will feel that I am totally free from that hell!"

  I can completely relate to this. I used to have nightmares frequently. Once I discovered the truth about the WT, the nightmares stopped.

  Mr. Snowbird and I Are Reconciling

  we've agreed to compromise on our differences and support each other through the years we have left.. i'm seeing a psychiatrist today to deal with my difficulties that stem from a traumatic and tumultuous childhood.. he is willing to yield in his beliefs that a man should control everything and make all the decisions.. being a stubborn jamaican, i realize how hard that is for him.. we're going to renovate the house so that he has his own quarters.. that way, my boisterous g'kids won't work his nerves too badly.. just wanted to put it out there.. syl.

  A Witness from a neighboring town......

  was shopping at our local grocer this morning while i was there.

  i pushed my cart past her, full of food for father's day celebration we are having on monday for convenience.

  in my cart were two full "american flag kits" as the patriotic nature of the independence day moved me to buy them and add to my 9 or 10 flags around my house and garden.. she looked at me and said 'are you a k----?

  Were you ever DF'd? For what and how long?

  i was df'd when i was 20 or so for fornication.

  i got reinstated when i was 24. i had a son during that time and i was worried about us if we didn't get back to the fold and 'protection' of the organization.

  i love home remedies.

  being able to use things from around the house to fix stuff, or treat illness is great.

  a couple that i have used:.

  To get food that is stuck in your microwave-boil a cup of water for about 5 minutes. Then all you have to do is wipe it out-the food comes right off.

  Be careful though, cause the cup and water will be extremely hot.
