was shopping at our local grocer this morning while I was there. I pushed my cart past her, full of food for Father's Day celebration we are having on Monday for convenience. In my cart were two full "American Flag Kits" as the patriotic nature of the Independence Day moved me to buy them and add to my 9 or 10 flags around my house and garden.

She looked at me and said 'Are you a K----? From the K------------ congregation? I am sister W------, from the C--------- congregation.' I was startled a bit since I hadn't seen her for a long while [prob since the last time I gave a public talk at her hall, 7 or 8 years ago now. I just answered 'Yes'. We chatted for 30 seconds and I went on. I felt no desire to confront her, or to tell her I am considered the 'Active, Evil Apostate' here.

I wonder if she will now go back and feel a desire to 'report' Brother K------ for his purchase of the American Idols in my cart. LOL

Interestingly enough, this is the same store in which my former good friend works - He shuns me totally, with almost an anger in his face when I see him. I wonder if she ran into him a little later what was said. If he told her of my status, she probably had to go home and take a shower seeking to remove her outer layer of skin after brushing up so close with me. LOL

I thought of taking it the next step and saying something like " Oh, so good to see you sister." And giving her a brotherly hug. But I really don't care about them anymore. How can I after the way they treat 'friends' they have known for a lifetime?

    Just thought I would share.

Happy Father's Day [Belated] to all.

it is amazing that they don't question why they behave in such a retarded way. It is bullying and childish but they see it as spiritual discipline.
