  i have been having a serious dicussion on another site with a jw.

  so far i think i have got my point across regarding 1914 and how the date wasn't actually predicted.

  whereas he has come back and said that they did in fact predict "the end of the gentile times".. to a point he is right, russell and his associates did say this.

  your paying so much in gas right now that it has brought out national economy to its knees, and yet the thing that should upset you this most is this .... the goverment is doing "nothing!".

  not one bill has been passed, plan implemented or action taken.

  all talk and no action, which is why our government needs to be fired and replaced or this country is done.. .

  Habits have to change. I for one have saved money the past year. I stopped driving to work and started biking and walking the 5km to get there. I live in Alberta, which has the oilsands which produce millions of gallons of oil. I tend to believe that most of the major oil fields in the world have been tapped into, there is more down there, but demand is outstripping supply. World peak oil is imminent. If you're interested, I would recommend looking at the "Hirsch Report" prepared by the US Department of Energy.

  I could not listen to his dribble, reading the transcript was gag-inducing enough! It amazes me that seemingly intelligent people are so brainwashed that they believe everything this ranting lunatic spews. It's like the WTS has found the switch that turns off peoples ability to be rational. I wish I could find that damn switch and turn it on so people could realize what utter rubbish it is...
