i have heard about this forum from someone, but i won't say who as i don't want to expose them.
i am in the process of evaluating my life as a jw.
it has been a pretty sad life - without a real feeling of 'belonging'.

I have been out for some time............so I don't recall where they all are.....but I do remember the content.
The 1Cor 15:33 is so burned into my memory I may very well take that one to the grave with me..........If I haven't forgotten it in 12yrs.......Looks like it is there to stay.

i have been reading posts for a while, but everytime i try and post my intro, i dont know what to say, so i suppose i will just write what comes to me.
lets see, i was born and raised in the "truth", i have never known anything else my whole life, so this is weird for me to think differently.
i was df'd about 4 years ago when i met my "worldly" husband, i have tried for the past 2 years to be reinstated, but i guess that i have not tried hard enough, according to the elders (who btw have not been very nice or loving toward me).

Stick around and you will find what you are looking for and all the support you need. It can get touchy around here at times, but that is what happens when you get so many opinions on things.......we don't always agree, but if someone really needs help.......you will have PLENTY of that!!!!!

I was in a shelter and then later went to foster care due to the abuse by my parents (JW's at the time, dad still is one) at the age of 15.
I think it is a good idea........dont have any advice per say.........but wish you good luck.
I am not sure if you can have a shelter that only takes those of a specific relgion, but I could be wrong.
Anyhow..........I admire anyone who tries to help those who have been abused.
