most ex-jw's df/da that i know end up living a dangerous life.
some get into drugs, prostitution, gangsterism,etc.
as a result they prove the jw theory that says "whoever leaves jehovah's organisation won't make it" right.. it's difficult for me to say this, but it seems like jw's are partly right on this one.. why do most ex-dubs end up in a predicament of some sort?

AGBM you say this is a fact based on df'd and da'd that YOU know! Just how many do you know and how is that a sample large enough to say the JW's are right about JW's that leave the WTS? Now be a good little JW and do some research and see if you can get some facts! Opps you can't do that because the WTS won't let you research anything outside of their literature.

If he wants to get re-instated ask to have the elders show him from the bible the WTS rules for re-instatment.

Cawshun I think the internet has already done some damage as the JW's have the worst retention of born in's, nearly 70%. Also the fact that they are having trouble getting brothers to reach out, which to me is the real reason for eliminating the book study, makes it easier for the elders and ms servants.
i was born in 1964, 50 years after 1914. even in my teens i was doing the sums.
i had a worse case scenario figured out - if the 1914 generation could apply to babies and even if they lived to be a 120, i would still only be about 70 years old after they'd all died!

I was trying to get re-instated, they rejected my letter, even though they felt I was truly repentant and felt God had forgiven me. I then questioned who are these men that step in God's place, judge me and tell me I can't be in God's organization? I started to look into the history of the WTS and was shocked! 1914 and how Russell measured pyramids to confirm that date just made me realize what a damn fool I was my entire life! I then questioned everything they taught me and realized I can never be a JW again knowing what I know of the WTS now.

i have really enjoyed reading the well thought out comments and critiques of the wts doctrine.. i have been around the wts since i was 5 i left for a while during high school got to live a little worldly/normal life then got sucked back in.
my wife has been raised in the truth and even though weve been inactive (for a while now), she still has thoughts about the earthly hope and seeing her grandparents some day.
