I learned more about jw doctrine after I was df'ed than when I was in. I was actually trying to get reinstated when I started to learn about the history of WTS from sites like this. The thing that really got me was how Russell used astrology and pyramidology to come up with 1914.

by halcyon indid you ever actually understand most of the doctrine when you were a jw?

Anyone here have experience with the Arcade Game industry?
by Nosferatu ini just came up with a really wicked idea to make some money renting out a specialized game machine.
i can easily build the machines for cheap, but i don't know how the whole business end of it works.
when you see an arcade game in a place such as 7-11, are they renting the game machine, or does the company pay 7-11 to have the machine in it's store?

My brother owns a bar and the games he has is provided by a company for free. They come in and collect the money and my brother gets a percentage.

I know a sister that is the daughter of an elder, When she was young she perfected the art of fake door bell. She is married with 2 kids now and still does not like going door to door and I wonder if she is still practicing her perfected art of fake door bell ringing?

I got to handle the mics, sound system and stage. Of course the biggie...I got to read the Watchtower, which I had to do a lot because so many brothers did not show when it was their turn and since I was a good reader they always asked me to fill in. Come to think of it I had to fill in all the time for sound, stage and mics...I had a bunch of slackers in my hall!!!
