The bible was inspired by men who needed answers to what they saw and experienced in the world in which they lived , they had to endure through their own ignorance.

Stories were told to create power and relevance to their own specific god (YHWH)

Over time this god wasn't enough for centuries these people had prophesied a Messianic savior god, so the Jesus god was eventually created to help with their everyday perils and problems, a lot of people to this day still believe in this god.

my wife asked me after the year 2000 came and went without fanfare(because the wt organization said all the “new world” would be here within this 20th century would end), “ what would it take for you to leave the truth?”.

I really cant understand how people can get wrapped up with one Christian religion the WTS/JWS and think it normal that over hundreds of Christian based religions the one that has a publishing house operating at its core is going to solemnly truthful and biblicaly correct..

The WTS has been selling a tainted commercialized version of the Gospel of Jesus since the late 1800's.

1874 was a false doctrine as 1914, as 1925 as 1975,

Its a fear mongering apocalyptic organization that uses corrupt coercive tactics to lure people to their published literature, as well into the organization so they can exploited and manipulated for labor and money and build a semblance of power to a few select men who run the organization.

Its gussied up toward creating preachers of Christ's new Kingdom order to come soon.

A proportionate amount of fear, guilty, obligation and shame into person psyche is bound to make anyone unbalanced and being that JWS are deeply brainwashed as such no wonder so many JWS suffer from mental health issues.

Watchtower spends a billion $s plus each year

I find that hard to believe Slim the WTS has cut back on publishing paper literature dramatically in recent years.

Sure there are costs to support and keep branches functioning but one must remember there are a lot of congregations that are spilling money into HQ every month.

Canada alone had 40 million on hand back in the early 2000's .

The US had acquired 2 billion + in the last 10 years on their property sales , a billion does disperse like magic.

one of my favorite actors is robert de niro.

some of his later movies were so so but overall i think he was outstanding.

meryl streep, i just never thought she was anything exciting yet people say she’s the best actress of all time.

I think Merlys Streep's acting has slipped, she was certainly good at the earlier part of her career.

I think an over abundance of adulation can hurt actors is they tend to loose focus , maybe trying less , resting more upon their past performances.

Making the perfect act for a character isn't easy, sometimes it can be overacted which weakens the performance overall.

Creating realism to the performance is the art and the talent.
