Why did you have so many jobs???
by Terry inwhy did i have so many jobs?.
i became a velcro salesman, but i couldn't stick with it.and besides - it was a ripoff.. i tried my hand at a career in tennis, but it wasn't my racket and i was too high strung.. i was a masseur for a while, but i seemed to rub people the wrong way.next i got a job at a pool company, but the work was too draining.then?i was a historian, but i couldn't see a future in it.i took a job as an elevator operator—the job had its ups and downs, and i got the shaft.. i became a banker, but i had an affair with boss's wife because she promised to hold my interest right up to the moment of withdrawal.. i just lost my job as a psychic.
i did not see that coming.if a job’s worth doing, it’s too hard.. i quit my job working for nike.

Do you think any of the GB have different beliefs?
by neat blue dog indo you think any higher ups know that much of the doctrine they teach is bunk?
thinking back to the time of raymond franz, how he pointed out specifically numerous teachings that the churches really did have right all along, and really any of the hidden mic apostacy trials you listen to on youtube, you see that even when inconvenient bible teachings are proven, the elders just try to sweep it under the rug and move on.
i think i remember franz saying how one of the gb approached him somewhat sympathetically, but there was nothing he could do.. whether you believe in the bible or not, there are some basic beliefs common among most denominations because they're just so plainly stated, such things as heavenly life for all christians, no central authority structure, minimal use of god's name, etc.

There's probably a variance between them all about how much the set doctrines are bullshit , just like many of the JWS out there.
For example people like Lett probably think there's very little where people like Morris or Splane probably there is a more.
Of course this is internally kept to themselves, all are nevertheless willing to support everything to the fullest as means to keep the framework of the organization in tact..

That's all there ever was to being a Jehovah's Witness
by Terry injehovah's witnesses weren't jehovah's witnesses until 1931.until that year the people who had been hard-headed followers of end times false prophecies by william miller and seventh day adventists, more or less settled into following charisma-ballyhoo preaching by folks like "pastor" c.t.
russell.what was it that attracts these people?
it is a thin veneer of pious bible interpretation as a means of prepping for the end of the world.yep.

Wagering on fictional mythology to be true and factual is never a good bet or a idea.

by neat blue dog inhttps://www.sltrib.com/religion/2020/03/07/lds-church-discloses/.
it turns out the lds church has about $38b in stocks and mutual funds from major companies such as apple, microsoft, amazon, walmart and others.
they also have numerous dummy corporations to hold assests with a combined value of $32b.

The WTS always portrays that they run on a slim margin, in reality it doesn't when you combine all the attached corporations together .

Since they are based in the US they probably don't pay any tax on those investments.

Crocodile tears
by road to nowhere inassembly experiences.
brother so and so gets sick goes to hospital, refuses blood, dies; leaving widow and orphans.
then the experience continues--usual meals and such, then the bastards actually took the family door to door within a few days.

The WTS active machine is one of self supporting biased propaganda, particularly at Assemblies.
Brother so and so gets sick goes to hospital, refuses blood, dies; leaving widow and orphans. " I am SO sorry "
How about another happy event or circumstance ....
Brother goes to hospital dearly sick, doctors recommend a blood transfusion, brother recovers and leaves the hospital healthy to return home where wife and children are happy and relieved father is home living, family continues on living happy and in love.
Everyone involved including the doctors conducted themselves in a Christian way by helping to cure and tend the sick out love and respect, Jesus Christ's greatest commandment.

What part of the JWS religion isn't a theological fraud ?
It was a invention by men to empower those men

I think you did an admirable job Terry of revealing some inconvenient truth about the JWS internal cover up of pedophilia within the JW organization.
Funny how you smack a JWS with some uncomfortable truth they quickly leave and retort " Go to JWorg. "
Brand loyalty is a paramount inquisition with JWS no matter what , well Jah is watching after all to see how loyal one is to his chosen organization.
Elder: "I really don't think it's profitable to continue this line of questioning. I have to go now. If you have any other questions. . .
I would have gone into the organization's dating of events which keep on getting changed (1874 -->>) and how this change is most likely relating to the organization's literature proliferation agenda.

I think this article helps to explain what Terry is getting at .......
Plato writes that the Form (or Idea) of the Good is the ultimate object of knowledge, although it is not knowledge itself, and from the Good, things that are just, gain their usefulness and value. Humans are compelled to pursue the good, but no one can hope to do this successfully without philosophical reasoning. According to Plato, true knowledge is conversant, not about those material objects and imperfect intelligences which we meet within our daily interactions with all mankind, but rather it investigates the nature of those purer and more perfect patterns which are the models after which all created beings are formed. Plato supposes these perfect types to exist from all eternity and calls them the Forms or Ideas.[2] As these Forms cannot be perceived by human senses, whatever knowledge we attain of the Forms must be seen through the mind's eye (cf. Parmenides 132a), while ideas derived from the concrete world of flux are ultimately unsatisfactory and uncertain (see the Theaetetus). He maintains that degree of skepticism which denies all permanent authority to the evidence of sense. In essence, Plato suggests that justice, truth, equality, beauty, and many others ultimately derive from the Form of the Good.
