  JW weddings gone bad. A story from my old congo.

  first there was the child the high school girl had out of wedlock.

  the term rape was bandied about after she began to show.

  When a JW, what did you think about human fossils of 1.2 million years

  when i was in and documentaries came on the telly about human fossils being found dated 800 000 years old or 1.2 million years old i would always say - they surely must have the dating process wrong (hello - i'm not expert) or would try find a loop whole to make sure that the belief of mans' 6/7000 year existance.. i also used to reason that they were probably a species of apes or forgeries - anything to make myself believe we as jws' were right - i did this without even "thinking" really - like breathing.. i even studied science & biology at school and would also have to come up with ""excuses"" for this or that.

  ag what did we know we were only kids, but when you become an adult and have adult reasoning faculties one can't ignore the facts.. so what did you create as a safe bubble when things like this came up?.

  ok i think the best way to go about this is make this a david vs goliath issue.

  we should email every news outlet/online outlet we can think of.

  attach a copy of the email sent and make some bad publicity for pbs.

  ok i think the best way to go about this is make this a david vs goliath issue.

  we should email every news outlet/online outlet we can think of.

  attach a copy of the email sent and make some bad publicity for pbs.

  you have violated u.s. copyright law by not gaining permission to use footage from knocking in the opening sequence of your series of short videos "watchtower comments" archived at the url: http://jehovahswitnessesvideo.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html .

  Unfortunately, YouTube doesn't check all the facts. If they get a complaint about copyright then they will either warn
  the owner to delete the videos or they will do it themselves and viewers will be welcomed to a "Copyright Violation"
  notice as to why to video is not available. YouTube doesn't have the staff to check out every little complaint to see if
  it is a valid reason - once they get a legal notice they take action. It would be time-consuming to pursuit this in a
  legal case in court and probably cost more than it's worth (I'm sure the WTBTS would be happy to throw money into
  this case in their favor).

  Make the edits and repost.

  Just snip the hand-raising clip and repost. Your information is too important to be tie-up in copyright issues.
  Once you've made the edits, there will be nothing to stop you. They are just reaching for any little thing to
  keep you from opening the eyes of others. As for the comments, don't put too much concern into them ...
  those of us who subscribe will definately return to fill it up again.

  Question: When did satan become ruler of the world according to JW?

  according to wtbts doctrine, when did satan become the ruler of the world?

  was it immediately after the humans were banished from the garden, or was it later when he fought with michael and was banished from heaven and sent to the earth?

  Wait a minute ... if Satan became "Ruler of the World" after Adam and Eve sinned and then casted from Heaven after the Great War ... how is it that Satan is invited back to Heaven to gamble on Job?

  How Many Here Are Born Again Christians Now?

  just wondering how many ex -jw's have become born again christians and whether or not this happened while you were still in the wt organization?

  also, what is your experience now with god and christ?

  why the jewish calendar will be incorrect in 2008 .

  this article explains why most observant jews and others following the jewish calendar will be celebrating god's annual holy days one month late in 2008. .

  in trying to follow exodus 12:2, exodus 13:3-4, 7-10, and numbers 9:2-3, judaism says that passover, which they celebrate on nisan 15 rather than on nisan 14, must not fall before the northern hemisphere spring equinox (tekufot nisan).

  According to the Jehovah's Witnesses:

  “We use the Jewish Calender, common in the 1st century. The beginning of the month of Nisan was the sunset after the new moon nearest the spring equinox became visable in Jeruselum. The memorial date is 14 days after.”

  So the sunset after the new moon for this month would be on March 8 th , so if you count from Sunday the 9 th …14 days later it’s March 22 nd .
