On Saturday... I decided to dump all my literature

it felt good!

i took that huge plastic bin that contained multiple copies of all the books given out by the society, all the old wt and awake's that i had, the year books, etc..... and threw into the city dump.

my boyfriend thought i should maybe bring the literature back to them and i said "hell no.... so they can give it out to more innocent people.. he agreed.

at this stage i intend to do so on my own; although anybody willing is welcome to join me.

it will take place april 17-19 .

1958: "Many are the people alive since 1914 who will still be living when it is time for Armageddon to begin" ("From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained," 1958, p.205);
1967: Of "the generation ... who saw with understanding the developing sign of the `last days' from their start in 1914," that is "the adult generation of that time," "The end of this wicked system ... will come before all members of that generation pass away." 1914- What's the big deal if it's the wrong date?

i hear it a lot on this board that the 607 date is wrong... i figured that out while i was a jw... never really thought much about it though.

just thought, ok, if it's wrong then everything is moved up about 20 or so years.... and for that matter, why is it such a big deal to the society?

why can't they just fix the date so it's right.

when is armageddon coming at the moment ?

when i used to go there was a spoecial campain because it was so close , what happens now is it still any minute now or is there talk along the lines of that it may not happen for quite sometime yet ?

has anyone ever said at a talk that it may not happen in our lifetime ?

has anyone who is still in ever heard anyone question it coming very soon, considering the golden oldies must of being saying that all of their lives

I hate the Watchtower but I really still hate the Trinity Jesus is NOT God!

some bibles use the term "worship" when refering to jesus...at times people did fall down and bow to him........this doesn't show he was god!

the greek term; proskeyneo, means to prostrate oneself, to bow down and show honour.

now, this was done for jehovah.....and his representatives....jesus israelite kings and priests....but for the honour of jehovah not as creature worship which even angels would refuse.. also i studied the non-biblical early church gospels which really does show a slow decline over 150 years, into the trinity as the watchtower claims...........although i still hate the watchtower society at least i learnt something that wasn't a lie..

I always imagined God as a pitcher of water. When you pour out that water into another glass - it's still the same water. So, Jehovah God is like dynamic energy as a spirit. One thing that people seem to forget is that spirit form is vastly different from physical form. I don't think our imperfect minds can comphrend what Jehovah's being is like. Jesus was talking to people from 4 BC - I would imagine their intelligence was somewhat to a 8 year old today. He spoke in parables to help them understand what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. Try to imagine explaining nuclear fussion to someone in 4 BC ... get the idea? Jehovah God may be in a 4th dimension or something that our minds just can't understand ... like trying to comprehend something that has no beginning or no end ... it's just all too confusing. So, I think Jesus and Jehovah are ONE of the same. Jesus is God and with God.

i am being called an apostate by some at the kingdumhell ,what should i do

when i bump into the people who are calling me that name i would like to say something about what apostate actually means but im not very articulate (you may have noticed) one lady has said she will be polite to me but nothing else , im not even an ex dub just an ex study so do i actually qualify for that title in the "land of makebelieve"?

i know that jws think they invented the word apostate !
