The point is that our past is coming back to bite us in the ass. While I liked Ronny as well he did plenty of stupid things, this being one of them. Of course, considering he gave the intelligence agencies and military free reign it is likely this was another thing he didn't know about. The 80's may have been a different time but that doesn't mean we won't make the same dumb ass mistakes again.

I thought the show was great as well. I liked being able to recognize all the Seattle locations. Although, they showed someone who recognized him in the first show. I don't know how they'll be able to drag out the story. Of course since it is a good show I'm sure it will be cancelled in favor of some dumb ass reality program.

Questions For The Skeptics (Unbelievers)
by Zechariah ini have announced i am on a crusade to encourage skeptics to think on the issue in a way they probably have never done before.
i initially have made the mistake of cramming everything into one, two or three posts.
this i should have immediately recognized is an impossibilty because what i have in mind requires a great amount of meditation to fu;;y comprehend.

While I don't agree with atheists and skeptics I think it is always important to consider what they have to say. Your presumption is that you need to change some other persons mind because of what you believe. It would be the same as me starting a post to convince all christians to drop their religion and become a Pagan like me. I must say I have become more enlightened to reality with the help of the so called skeptics on this board than I ever did studying various Christian religions for 15 years. The only thing that keeps me from being an atheist myself are a series of personal experiences that neither science nor the Bible could explain adequately.
Instead of trying to get skeptics to think a different way why don't you just try and listen to them? You might learn something. Unlike what the JW's teach it is ok to listen to a differing opinion. You don't have to agree with it but it may help you look at your own beliefs in a different way.

What is the fastest growing religion?
by RR incharisma news service, september 20, 2002 edition.
a new study has revealed pentecostal churches to be among the fastest-growing denominations, experiencing double-digit growth nationally from 1990 to 2000. according to "the new york times," "religious congregations and membership: 2000" found that the assemblies of god was the third fastest-growing denomination, increasing 18.5 percent or 2.6 million since the last survey in 1990.. .
released tuesday by a roman catholic research group, the study discovered that "conservative protestants" gained while "moderate" and "liberal" protestants continued to suffer an exodus of membership.. .

I hope and pray that more and more people come to Jesus Christ.
While you do that I'll pray that the Goddess will bless you with her wisdom.

The rise and fall of the Jehovah's Witness faith
by kenpodragon inoften in society we let every business and organization have there day.
it seems that we do not want to stifle freedom with endless restrictions, so we let people go to a point that will either bring success or failure.
the thing is, those are not always the results.

Considering that religion has found its way into our government I think it is only right that we Tax them like any other business. As for the power companies, thank deregulation for that mess.

D you meditate?
by Lost Diamond ini went to a seminar yesterday for work on how to manage stress.
the speaker was great...he is dr. mees, author of "wake up, america".. he stated how our diet, exercise, and meditation are very important for our own health.
he described the damage cocaine does to the heart muscles, which cannot be repaired and compared it to the damage stress does as well.

I don't meditate nearly enough and now that school is starting up again I'll need it even more. The techniques I used I learned in my Tae Kwon Do classes from years back. I remember as I was leaving the WTS my fornicatomate caught me meditating and told everyone that I had the devil inside of me. The sad part is allot of people believed her. Given the stance of the JW's on meditating I bet there are plenty of Dub hearts that look like Swiss Cheese.

Why Are the Democrats So Evil?
by cellomould ingeorge bush took advantage of your fears of 'big government' to get into office.... ...so are the democrats proponents of 'big government'?
do they love in-your-face politics?
do they want to give all of your hard-earned money away to good-for-nothing slobs?.

I think Dubya is an ass. However, unlike Clinton he really seems to want to stick to his word which is a good thing. I'm really unimpressed with the Democratic party as a whole. It seems like they are just pissing in the wind with all of their rhetoric. I would almost always be voting Republican if it wasn't for the fact that they turned into the God squad. As far as "big government", both parties want to tell you how to live. The Democrats want to do that through social programs and taking as much of your money as possible. The Republicans want to do it through telling what your morality and "family values" should be. I'll really never understand diehard partisan people who feel the need to trumpet one over the other. Either way your going to get screwed.

"Super Smash Bros. Melee": "Gree...
by Ephanyminitas into those of you that are big "super smash bros. melee" fans (as am i!
but i'm sitting at a computer right now (duh) listening to the green greens theme -- the orchestration of classic nintendo themes is excellent -- and i just noticed that it sounds a bit like a kingdom melody.
of course, it's tons catchier than a k.m., but you get the point.. while i'm on the topic, are there any other ssb:m fans in the audience?

I think SSBM is great! However, there are many other fighting games that are far superior ie: Soul Calibur
As far as fun factor goes though SSBM is a great party game epsecially if you've had a few drinks.
I actually am not a fan of Nintedo, mainly because of their business practices, but they do make some pretty good games.

You should know that there is scriptural evidence that unless you take a janitorial job Jehovah will not let you see paradise on earth. I just hope you prayed to Jah! for this blessing. ;)
other than that GRATS! AND GOOD JOB!
