  a friend of mine has contacts to a family with several circuit overseers and special pioneers.

  they have good connections to bethel.. he told me that the latest rumor from bethel states that the cos should be abolished in their present form.

  they have also recently begun to take cos back to bethel.. over the same channel i have already heard of the car fleet program and that the dos should be abolished.. has anyone else already heard of it?

  wouldn't surprise me the healthcare costs in the USA alone must be substantial, although I've never really seen the point of them, they go to a circuit for three years and visit most of the congs twice a year, for a week or so it seems to give the cong a little kick up the backside etc but a couple of weeks down the line the cong as back to its lukewarm usual underperfoming self, and three years later another one comes in and the exact same thing happens again! what cant the elders do that a CO can? talk about pointless inefficiency but the WT are masters of these kinds of roles, and in my experience the body of elders usually cant wait to get rid of them quick enough.

  its pretty rare it seems.

  i have often wondered if the elders would go this route with me since they knew i was actively sinning, but as far as i know, no jc was ever formed.

  pyongyang reserves the right to shoot down american planes even if they are not inside their airspace.. i listened to trump's speech to the un with dismay.

  it demonstrated a total lack of understanding of his enemy and the inevitable consequences of inflicting personal insults on kim jong-un.

  my ex wife said something similar to me "I've sinned agaisnt the holy spirit" quite a big deal if there was such a thing , like the creator of the entire universe would give a single hoot about me!

  my wife and i were walking up to the original walmart store in bentonville.

  its now a museum.

  two women were sitting in the park next to a cart.

  try being a bit more subtle and friendly next time? there are 2 ladies that work the cart in my local town I saw them this week, and every time I see them I take a rag and exchange a few pleasantries, they are genuinely nice kind people we talk about the weather ask them how they are keeping etc, its no use getting into a doctrinal debate with them because they simply are not equipped to debate in that way, I just hope my few minutes with them brightens up the mind numbing boredom they are having to deal with.

  what happened after jesus zoomed up into the sky?for a while, he was expected to return rather quickly.in the meantime, there was the “great commission” and evangelism to be tended to.. the jesus believers were meeting in people's homes.

  members of that community would take turns using private homes to gather.

  thus, they went house to house.. these footstep tracers of jesus (they called themselves akolouthontes "followers" or some called themselves mathetai or "learners.

  it has taken me till now to actually register and contribute.

  (actually i did register with a different name in the beginning but never commented).. i am a pimo elder with a fairly long history of senior "positions" in the organization.

  Thinking about the end of the Watchtower

  first, a word about the watchtower’s financial position: nobody (outside the watchtower organization) knows.

  the wtbs is not required to disclose its finances, and doesn’t.

  we can speculate, but that is all we are doing.

  in my mind it really has finished, they never call any more,they have virtually no influence on my life at all these days albeit my sister still remaining loyal but we haven't spoken in years, both parents passed away,not one single prophecy they predicted has materialised, KH's in my circuit and neighbouring circuits are being flogged off, congregations liquidated, the big splendour of district assemblies held in huge sports arenas every summer would be publicised in the media but now they dont even get mentioned, the growth in the UK is not even at a snails pace, the only reminder I see these days is their "apathy cart" in my home town completely ignored by the general public, yep they've finished, the internet has played a huge part in this!
