Jesus stated the wise principle that one should "calculate the expense" before undertaking an important project. (Luke 14:28) Can that principle be applied to entering the full time service? Certainly. Now you may be able to get started pioneering at very little cost, or maybe even free, if given a four door car. However, as 17-year-old Henna discovered, "the gas bill can suddenly get very high." There can also be constant pressure to keep driving across town to make return visits of people who are never home in addition to the high cost of starbuck coffee and donut breaks.

i don't know why i woke up this morning with this question on my mind.

why would god make the angels first, which are superior to humans, then go and make something inferior, like humans second.

i would figure that the angels would be like 1.0 then the humans would be revision 2.0 or something like that.

I think that is some form of karma. However what I have been reading one does pay for wrongs in the next life from a preveous one. This is a concept I have trouble. Should I not feel sorry for a child who was molested because he is likely paying for his own actions as a molester in a previous life? And why can't I remember things from my preveous life? Anyway I think I am stuck on the same level of game play. I need some cheat codes.

One thing that sets Man apart from other animals is our abiltity to build and create. We build houses, create art, music, etc. So why would not the angles have the same qualities?

Maybe satan wanted to create a little something of his own to enjoy and control. Like a little kid who wants to copy an adult and builds a crude play house in the back yard or of legos, maybe Satan or some other angel wanted to create too. They just could not get it as good as the master builder god could. Maybe he did not have the same ability to create in the spirit world so he created a physical world, like the legos of children, fun to play with, but not the real thing. This would explain all the problems in the world. anyway it makes more sense than a perfect god who create this screwed up world.

Here is a question. If man had the ability to create life, would he? Of course he would. So why not an angle who was envious of god's creations and wanted some for himself.

Of course this is all speculation, and likely as good a thery as earth being a reality series for space aliens.

i just had a jw come to my door and i had to threaten her to get her to leave!

i told the woman right off i was 'apostate' and had no intention of changing it.

she kept asking me personal questions which i told her were none of her business and she said she would have the elders come by and i told her that if they came by the better be wearing bullet proof vests!

How about the possibility that we were not create by god at all. Maybe, god created the spirit realm where he exists and the angles. Then satan who was envious of god and his creations wanted a little sandbox of his own. So he created the earth as his play ground.

Then again maybe earth is just a reality series for space creatures to enjoy watching how screwed up we all are.

I have been reading some of the concepts that you believe. On one had I like the fact that we can only blame ourselves for our problems and not some out side entity. We are responsible for our own problems and we have to keep on working until we get it right. However I have trouble with the concept of Karma. Do you believe in Karma?

This make me wonder how the GB would react if Jesus walked up to Bethel and knocked on the door. Hey guys, you were wrong about me returning invisible, here I am now, in the flesh. Then he peforms a miracle to prove that he is indeed Jesus and here to take over control of the society.

What do you think the GB members would do?

A. Ask Jesus in, wash his feet and update him on the peaching work?

B. Refuse to accept the he was Jesus, and ask for more proof?

C. Call security and have him thrown out?

I would put my money on C.

i have a question for you who have a background of being wittness.i was forced to become a wittness by my mother.now when i am older i feel nothing but hatred becourse of that damnable brainwash.from my early boyhood i have allways been attracted with what is called satanism.this i confess now.the only true religion for me.that's i ask from you folks.is there anyboby out there who confess satanism after leaving jw's?

The WTS would confess that 99.9 percent of everyone here who has left the JW confess satanism. Just because they say it, don't make it so.

Just curious, what do you find attractive about satanism?
