  Door Experience: Just got my first tract & visit in 5 years from local JWs

  i have not once gotten a visit or tract since living here.

  well, saturday at 10:00, i finally got a visit.

  Excellent, well done!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your experience. I do hope she thinks about her relationship or I should say her lack of relationship with her child. It is so sad that people allow the WTS to destroy families. I was one of those people whose family was torn a part but we have worked very hard and Iam happy to say I have my family back.

  Both. If someone in the hall does have some money they like to suck up to them. They are all a bunch of selfish takers. They like to come across as god fearing, putting the kingdom first, what a laugh. In reality, they wish they had more just like the next guy. We experienced it first hand. They were your best friend if they thought they would be getting something out of it.

  Indoctrination of children into the Watchtower Society

  pulling off from another thread, the topic of children and the watchtower comes into high lighted consideration,.

  there is little doubt on the enormous psychological effects the wts's mental indoctrination has in the developmental growth of children.. i personally went through this myself as you folks as well, so i can relate to the experience.. goaling people to become servitude slaves for the needs of the society in support of both their identity and financial needs is in itself disturbing.. plying the same tactics on to impressionable children and schooling them into being door to door publishers is nothing more but disgraceful.

  The society covers all thier bases. They had a book, tape, video for everything. They began pushing the young peoples ask book pretty hard as well as the video of how to make true friends.

There are so many who could benifit from its use. It does not have to be smoked for those of you that would argue its harmful for the lungs. It is in pill form.

  i was watching it-i know she likes obama and all, but she said something that struck me as insulting to the obama family as well as all the americans who voted for them.

  it was something to the effect that "look at that beautiful perfect family-if they weren't so beautiful, so educated, smooth, well spoken, so well dressed etc etc, there is no way he would ever have been elected.

  i didn't even vote for obama and that just struck me as racist.

  Joy is full of herself. She is a democrat full and full and has a hatred for G. Bush. Her first choice was Hillary but that was not meant to be so she voted for her party-it just happened to be Obama.

  Iam totally burned out on religion. I have been out of the cult for 15 months now and have a stronger distain for religion . I do not know if I will ever be able to pick up the bible and read it again. The JW's with all the twisting and raming it down your throat with all the meetings has left a sour taste in my mouth. Iam content to do Nothing at all. In fact, I totally enjoy my evenings and Sundays off.
