americans is this true ?
by looloo ini was at a first aid course the other day and was told that americans no longer teach mouth to mouth resusatation which i think is quite possible but the reason given was that 1 out of 3 people in the states is either hiv or has hep b or c i find that hard to believe , any ideas ?.

swine flu is armageddon ! anyone else heard that one ?
by looloo inmy friends mum is a dub , and she has told her grandchild to come back to meetings as armageddon is coming in the form of swine flu and its going to kill everyone in a month because a member of the congregation had a dream , the problem is the month has passed !
what a lovely grandma telling her grandchild such bedtime stories ,physological child abuse i would have thought it really pisses me off that these people get away with putting such fear into kids heads and have the damn nerve to look down on "worldley people " poor kids .

by White Dove inwas anyone embarrassed when a brother would stand up in a restaurant and give a group prayer where other non-jw's could hear it?
did you feel impositioned when that happened?
how about whenever and where ever it happened, like a family prayer where it was expected that you would agree with everything said?

she gives no reason for leaving him i dont think he is violent the couples two boys are with mum also so she can claim benefits .
its very confusing maybe she has seen the light but dosnt want to loose the kids so still goes to meetings ..

im a jehovahs witness i dont gossip !!!!!!
by looloo inthat is one saying that really got on my bloody nerves , and the strange thing was it was usually the biggest gossips i have ever known in real life and j dub land that came out with that line !
they insist they do not gossip but in my workplace where 90 % of workforce were witnesses it was no different to any other place of work i have been in for gossip , i even remember thinking how nasty they were for calling a member of the congregation "shrek" what fine fruit i thought to myself !

not certain really but if my life depended on which choice i made i would go with guilty , i know from experiance how manipulative and dishonest abusers can be . i also know from child protection trainig i recently did that it is very unlikley that a kid would make abuse up .

getting time in is quite dishonest !
by looloo ini have a friend (ex workmate) and a jw ex workmate calls on her and has done for 6 years , i recently asked her what they talk about , she said she gives me some mags that go straight in the bin when she leaves but we have a good gossip about my love life and my kids what she has been up to (not a lot as she ia 40 year old virgin) and she never mentions jesus armageddon bla bla .
if she stays 2 hours do you reckon the fact that she leaves the mags means she would count her time , did anyone else do that ?
it prooves its nothing to do with serving god !
