  Why are Pedophile attracted to JWs?

  i was wondering how much jw training and/or fear of god played a role in jw childrens' victimization.

  the man that abused my child used "jw talk " in the grooming process in a distorted way that she felt justified his actions even though she was confused about it !

  why did the "demons" only go after those "strongin the truth"

  i heard that when a "strong " jw supposedly had demon problems (it was probably just the wind in reality) but i also heard that demons affected the ones that were "weak" and were not regular at meetings etc perhaps because they had second hand furniture lol

  what is the generation change that happened in 1995 ?

  A judicial case I know of

  a married sister had an affair with a single brother.

  not only was the single brother and the sister df'd but the husband was too.

  i notice from comments posted that many here who post (and untold scores who lurk) are still "in".

  perhaps their social / family circles are too constricted for freedom of mind, and or, they are too afraid to rock the boat.

  or too young to strike out on their own and are dependent on jw parents for support.

  i really feel for your situation , why dont you tell your family that some one on the doors asked you if you were in a cult and you said no but then checked out what a cult was for your return visit , show them what you found on how cults work.com and tell them how worried you are that jws fit the requirements and see what happens , i hope you gain your freedom one day

  is it true that jws teach it is ok to lie and conceal from a new study?

  i remember after i had been inviting in a couple of ladys to chat a few times (but i was not a study at this point) i asked outright if me and my kids would be destroyed at armageddon , and one of them replied "yes you will if you are not a jw " i was terrified , i rang my dad and he said to tell them to piss off nxt time they come because they are a cult , how i wish i had listened , but i started a study , and i remeber an elder telling me that the other lady that used to call on me cringed when her friend said to me outright that yes you will be destroyed, and had wished she had put it differently (lied perhaps ) this elder told me that when you study you may not like everthing you learn but its like being given a meal , just because you dont like something on your plate dosnt mean you cant eat the rest of the meal !!!!!

  is it in their literature to lie to studys ?

  i know that a lot of jws have said they havnt heard about the michael porter and local child molester scandal when people have mentioned it on the ministery, there is no way that can be true considering the coverage it got , do you think it is announced at the hall to pretend they know nothing so they dont have to discuss it ?

  thanyou everyone , by the local molester in the local paper , i meant an ex min servant , whos bros and sisters and mum and wife and children aswell as numerous other relatives are in the local congregation along wih his victims familys , when someone asked his brother in law about it , he pretended he didnt know anything about it , even though it was said in court that his wife is supporting the molester (her bro ) even though he has been disfellowshipped for years !!!!

  what about giving dubs a checklist of what makes a cult when they call ?

  if you had some leaflets printed out and when a dub knocked on your door you could pretend you are doing research into religions and cults ,and you are searching for truth but want to be carefull not to get involved with a cult , give them a leaflet and ask them to check whether their religion fits any of the categorys , then watch them either outright lie to you or watch them look more horrified each one they read , maybe you could try it on your family thats in too .

  do you think that the jws that check out this site are affected ?

  obviously some of you were , but some topics i notice get huge amouts of folk reading them but not replying , i think that had i had internet access years ago and read some of these threads i wouldnt have lasted another week at kingdom hall , and yet i still imagine going to sit in the hall during a meeting so i could see what its like listening to a talk without a programmed mind and knowing that its a sign of a cult if your friends and family warn you its a cult but the cult tells you its just satan trying to get you out "the truth"!

  to be honest i started reading this site or something similar 8 years ago in the year 2000, but did not post till last year, billy i think if it was mandatory to read this site before baptism nobody with a brain would become a jw,lol
