since i haven't seen let alone touched a wt in years, i was curious if someone could fill me on the latest nonesense?.

Since I haven't seen let alone touched a WT in years, I was curious if someone could fill me on the latest nonesense?
i live in a country where this isn't typically a big event, and only in recent years have more started doing the whole 'trick or treat' thing.
however, i have been invited to a halloween party.
i've never participated in it before.. problem is this: i am still scared of my parents, they are a big part of my life, and know most of everything i do.
I also felt awkward the first time I really celebrated, dressing up and all. But again, it's because of what we've been programmed to think and feel about Halloween, which is not reality. Make it something of your own, rather than latching onto what the WTBS, or contrastily, what everyone else does. Personally for me Halloween is a large personal holiday, as my JC meeting where they DF'd me was on October 30. So I make it a point to really celebrate and bask in my freedom every year.

well, i made my move from puerto rico and have been staying with jw family for a few weeks now.
needless to say, they are as "into it" as ever before.
they started pioneering the first of september.
oh GAWD. frickin JW's and masturbation. You know they only difference between them and apes is a little less hair. The apes actually might have a few one-ups on them intelligence wise, and they don't throw a fuss about animals gettin frisky with themselves. Good lord, we're all animals. Maybe the GB members should rub a few out and effing relax. bastards.

wow...I can't believe you're still cohesively communicating after meetings and daily bible reading. So, good job on that front! YAY for tolerance. Sounds like the time spent with your friend will be much needed and enjoyed. What do you want to do after? Anywhere you wanna go?
i heard the numbers were great for the first show, having kanye west and seinfeld as the first guests.. how do you think the show will fare?.
lol....wow I feel so out of the loop. I don't even have TV. Everything I watch is *cough* from my own web wileyness. Though I have seen online ads for the Jay Leno show...and I was confused and than immediately, without any info, formed an opinion that it's simply retarded. What basically there's two Tonight Shows on NBC now, only one happens to be in prime time? WTF. I like Jay Leno don't get me wrong, but move on and let Conan do his thing.
p.s. Kanye is the biggest effing D*CK in the public eye that I've seen in a long time, I don't understand how or why people put up with him, and now especially if anyone hasn't seen the South Park episode about fish sticks and Kanye, I HIGHLY recommend said episode.

i only came on here to meet new people and have chats etc...yes i am a jw and do love jah.....but im also just an average person who im pretty sure many of you would get on with if we had the time to chat about other things too.... i think some want me to go....sad but yes true.....if you all want me to go then i'll do that..im fine with it as i just want to please people...... i know jb and some say they want to go to my elders,and honestly im fine with that but surely if someone is threatening then they clearly dont want me on here...... time to go???????

I agree. Yes we have different views, but that's the beauty of adult communication. We have the capability to listen to where another is coming from, respect it, and present our views as well. That's what life and this site is all about. Never ever should anyone feel unwelcome here. We are adults....well despite the toys on my desk I'm staring at right now. But really, I'm all growed up ;)
for those of us who were not able to celebrate birthday's growing up, do you find that in adult life you put a lot of emphasis on your birthday?
it's personally my favorite celebration, second would be thanksgiving but really only because i'm a sucker for lots of turkey and booze lol.
seriously though, since coming out birthday's have surprisingly become a very sacred thing to me.
You know WTWizard I am starting to look forward to that. Even since being out, I've never bought myself a Christmas tree. I recently got a new place with my GF and while she is not an xmas nazi by any means, she thinks it's really important for me to experience it, so she has said plainly she will be buying a tree and decorating this year. I am excited
