Layoffs are definitely going on, Max "the axe" Lloyd went over there years ago as the layerofferer!!!

Al the New Yprk building are being sold off and plans to make the farm bigger extent 7 years into the future...........

I have not come out of nowhere, you remind of those people that have to remind everyone how many generation witness they are, who cares.

Yeah I am new to this site, but thats a good thing right?

they say love is what makes the world go around.............and at bethel, us "new boys" would say..... "if god created anything better then sex...............he kept it for himself!".

how would we know?...............most of us never had it........didn't make any difference...........we talked about it...........fantasied about it...........dreamt about it..........i' m sure because we could't have it.

that is why we gloryried it so much..... hay!

Do Most Witnesses know about UN SCANDAL?

it seems to me that most witnesses still don't know about the un scandal.

since it has been such a useful tool in helping people see the truth about the lying duplicity of the watchtower, how can we get this message out to more in the organization?

Most dont know and if they did, wouldnt care.

I have said before, most of my peers ( 20-30) have no interest in the org other than social, those that do, are social misfits.

Most go through the motions, sin, confess, sin, confess, get married, have kids, sin , confess with a little meaningless preaching in between.

Seriously, its a like walking into a room full of people and no one talking.

i have read a lot of leolaia posts and have seen the attempt of scholar to counteract however unconvincingly.

im not after conspiracy, im after fact, could they move the end of the gentile times to 1934/35?

The new light is that the previously thought cut off date of 1935 is gone.

New anointed ones are not replacements, the unwritten, unofficial whisper campaign is that Jehovah will choose individuals from every Generation of Jehovahs people.

this was always based on Rutherford asserting that the two classes are quite equal, before this, the GC were seen as filthy little beggers, but after 1935, they were able to sing a similar song, but not the same song....oh wait up, they could sing the same song but in a different key or maybe the same tune but different words......cant remember.

Anyway, post 1935 the partakers dropped from 52465 in '35 to 24850 in '36, that means 50% were fake, they were singing the new song illegally even!!

Hope that clears things up.

Its looks hot, I think that anti witness, anti religious control will make this film appealing to a broad audience.

Im in the film industry and recognize the director, if this goes well in Berlin, it will get global distribution.

My prayers are being answered, the secret Jehovahs Witness club is working.

Why the Watchtowers "War" argument is totally bogus

from my own personal experience the watchtowers position on war always appeared to be one of the most difficult issues to navigate.

a number of times when i was first leaving the wts i spoke with jws who all used this argument to show me how "wrong" i was about the "truth".

while i knew the watchtowers arguments where wrong, i had a very difficult time figuring out exactly why it was wrong.

I agree to a point Drew.

I had a discussion with the General of our Army, who's wife is a witness a few years back and he put a similar point forward.

However, I still think its a morally heightened position to see war as futile, I personally think war is an outdated method for resolving issues, history proves it to be so, but war did stop hitler and it stops a lot now so it has its place.

The way I see it, the witness policy applies in the reality of this system now, they will never be a majority so your analogy is good, but irrelevant as it will never exist.

So you have to argue the position in its form, in its environment.

Its like arguing Newtons gravity theory but on the moon.
