I regulary look at my digital alarm clock and it says "19:14" and I think "Hmm, used to be the end of the 'Gentile Times'" Than I take a look at my number of posts and I have already passed 1914, 1918, 1925. When I look at car plates I get reminded of year numbers having been hammered into my brain. Well, this is not really serious, but I get always reminded of my JW past. I have to add that chronology was something important to me and Carl Olof Jonsson's book "The Gentile Times Reconsidered" was an important one for me. Do you know this phenomenon?

WOW, just dug out my old Queen albums

My suicide attempt yesterday...
by Gregor injust when you think life could not possibly kick you in the teeth any worse something like james browns passing blind sides you.
after listening to "i feel good" several times, including a half hearted attempt to dance to it, i swallowed an entire package of m&ms and drank a half pint of brandy.
fortunately my wife found me in time and forced me to drink a scotch and soda.

This title hit me because two days ago my neighbor was in front of my door, crying and telling she would prefer to be dead. At the end, I called the police. They spoke to her and said to me later she was just seeking attention. Strange situation.

Need Help on New Internet Exploler 7...

ok... ever since downloading the latest internet explorer version 7,..i've had an annoying problem.
if i go up to the address bar (where you type in the web address).... i can highlight it (with my curser) but if i go down to file and try to copy it - it doesn't copy.

What do you mean by "File". It just takes a right mouse klick to get "Copy" from the context menu, does it not? BTW, I installed IE7 at my office computer and was kindly asked by the IT department to deinstall it for compatibility issues. At home like now I use Opera 9.1.
