Its not that complicated. The thing that does the greates good for the largest number of people in a peacfull way is all you need.
I think the issue may be "complicated" by the fact that only 33% of the world's population is Christian.
How can you form a religion with the goal of "the thing that does the greatest good" around a set of beliefs only a minority of people buy into whatsoever? How is your true religion (or spirituality) going to help Muslims, Hindus, atheists, etc?

looking up all the references is a lot of work - one of the reasons nobody normally verifies these, but trust the writers.
as you will see, the writers are banking on this, but it is not a good thing to trust the wtbts writers.
please find the bibliography worked out for quotes 38-51, covering the heading "what about human evolution".. interesting is that many quotes are from the [u]preface[/u] of books, where the authors honestly explain the difficulties and assumptions related to evolutionary science.. [b]what about human evolution?[/b].

nope unitarian is close. But I beleive we were meant to live on earth forever.

If yours is the "True" religion, that implies all others are false. Calling another religion false is clearly "putting it down", and "judgemental".

Free thinking and rejection of conformity are generally considered valuable traits to those who are no longer JWs, and those very same qualities make it unlikely that we could or would even want to agree on enough to form (or join) a new religion together.
For all the legitimate criticism leveled at doctrine and dogma, they are a hell* of a good way to get a bunch of people in a room to work in a unified way towards a common goal. However, some of us feel the price of such effective control is far to high.

i have just started working my way through the new publication the origin of life 5 questions worth asking.
it is completely appalling.
it is at the very most six grade level and just the first references i verified (which most dubs dont do) have been taken out of context, are completely misquoted or in the example of using the encyclopedia britannica a dated version is used rather than the most recent one, to align with what they want to write, rather than aligned with the newest research.. .
here are a few of the "disclaimer" footnotes:
* Dr. Cleland is not a creationist. She believes that life arose by chance in some fashion not yet fully understood.
# It should be noted that neither the New Science aricle nor Bapteste nor Rose mean to suggest that the theory of evolution is wrong. Their point, rather, is that Darwin 's proposed tree of life, a mainstay of his theory, is not supported by the evidence. Such scientists still seek other explanations involving evolution.
