i started a serious thread on cult mind control- so i figured i'd start a sarcastic funny thread, or serious, your choice how to explore it , on personal study !

i got so sick and tired as a witness with that expression being crammed down my throat !

as a young person yes. i mean the WT crowds out ur personal life it's like being in a rat race always trying to catch up now i say screw it. i have chemistry I women studies, college algerba and american history to worry about LOL than my "personal study"

ELDER STUPIDITY

A black brother, MS, who was in his late 40s or early 50s, I believe, completely shaved all of his hair off....shiny chrome dome....because his hair was starting to turn gray.
He looked infinitely better bald. The (mostly white) BOE wouldn't appoint him an elder because he had a "gangsta" look about him and it was a bad influence on the young black men in the congo.
So he had to grow it out, and he looked like an old man and about 60.
I think it took a new CO showing up before he was appointed...and he was able to shave his head again.

Snakes that was 2 funny man. i remember back in the day their was a ~~Awake~~ Asleep cover page where the photography department had taken a dub (white male) and dressed him up as a gangster which was so freakin fake and going out in those blk community neighborhood and show this to real gang-bangers was such a joke. i thought for sure that i was going to be dead meat. Can you say "Wigger" HA HA HA

the stranger glances side to side, eyes peeled, studying the tranquil neighborhood, searching for motion, for movement, for any sign of activity, as he glides his beige chevy cavalier station wagon to a stop in front of the elegant white house.

he cuts the engine and with it the air conditioner as the punishing sun journeys between the sparsely positioned, comic book character clouds and endeavors to bake and blind him.

i am now a junior in college, and i have my own place.

i don't really like having roommates at all.

i just left in the middle of a lease because my ex-roommate was being a pain in the ass.

damn, dude that sucks 2 hear that. i remember when i spent my 1st year of college alone (18) at the time i was a dub and ppl in my KH frowned upon it really badly but the really good dubs supported me. not 2 rub it in but i had a blast w/my worldly roommate she was nothing like the WT or the dubs describe. back to ur story, since now u and ur roommate have gone on hiatus u can meet other x-dubs in ur area/ near ur campus just 2 get a start and u can make friends that way if u have not started 2 do so. just a suggestion

oh, how many of us heard that we wouldn't make it to graduation or get married in this system?

i thought i wouldn't grow up.

no one talked about preparing for the future.

my mother enrolled me in a JW school instead of normal public school.

WOW their are actually schools like this 4 dubs? how come i did not attend one of these schools? can someone enlighten me here

i was not alive in 1975 lol sorry, i missed the part about not getting married or having children in this system of things. in my opinion ppl in my hall are poppin out kids left and right so i assume it was not mandatory or anything. but the after HS thing an elder consulted me with that.

of course they did, we told u 2 pioneer, attend the meetings and donate 2 WBTS and above all to rely on jah put his kingdom 1st

turned down overtime because it interfered with meetings

I know XOCO would not pass up a promotion but i just can't stand wk overtime where they don't give u a shift differential

And I can teach my sons some practical things about life and living it to the full. Just a thought I was having since I am thinking about going to school...
