Evolution Anyone???

i read alot of posts and it seems that though you all (or most) have left the kh, you still believe in a "father" or a "jesus" that created everything.

since i too and one that left the kh, i have delved into science and have come the conculsion that god does not exist in a spirit form, but is life itself.

the "creator" of all things is evolution.

That's called the argument from incredulity. It's one of those logical fallacies. Basically, it goes something like: "I don't see how that is possible, therefore it's impossible." Like it or not, evolution is an established fact. Speciation has been observed under laboratory conditions and in the real world. The fossil record shows a gradual development over time. DNA evidence supports this. You mightn't like it but it's true.
Your idea of "terraforming" is interesting but there is no evidence for it, nor does it explain anything better than the theory of natural selection, and it postulates beings more advanced than those known to exist. For these reasons, it has to be rejected.

on this website there seems to be so many lies and so little actual truth.

is this supposed to be a place to get answers or confuse the hell out of truth seekers?

well, for you seekers out there, if you find the truth on this site it'll be a major fluke.

When and how did you become the sole dispenser of truth?
Why should someone believe your opinion rather than anyone else's? Clearly, calling evolution a 'lie' shows you're at best ill-informed, and you seem to give your opinions as fact. Relying solely on you (or indeed anyone) could be dangerous for truth-seekers. You have to listen to lies and then figure things out for yourself.

you ought to feel ashamed of letting them take away fear they don't deserve.. now's the time to discover a startling truth those who dared to step into their pit of spiritual punishment have found.

the "pit" of darkness they threaten to push you into is only 2-inches deep with a bottom painted black.

i have walked right across it to the other side.

if you remember, i've been inquiring about how to discuss jw issues with my boyfriend's sister.

it appears she is accepting the watchtower driven interpretations of the bible, but we are still not giving up.

if you are willing, would you respond, in a nutshell, to the question, "what is the doctrine or belief that the jw's hold that was most instrumental in leading you to abandon this religion?

For me, the moment I knew with certainty that I was not only being bullshitted, but deliberately bullshitted, was when they changed the "generation" doctrine. For years, I had been told, and told others that people in their 80s would definitely be alive when the end came. Definitely, as in the Bible says so, beyond any dispute. And then they just changed it. I saw it coming, but it was still a shock. But the bigger shock was that noone else seemed to notice. They all just answered whatever they'd underlined and went on to the next paragraph. not even a big announcement. Just a "new understanding."

Part II of Survey! Please Respond Again.Thank's.

the first survey i asked how you were brought into the non-truth.

my next survey is along the same line, however what i would like to find out is on the average how many hours you spent in the field service and were you ever able to bring anyone into the non-truth via field service or via incidental witnessing.. and how long you were associated with the borg?.

In my ten years or so of publishing (or peddling) I never spent more than 9 hours a month at it. Usually, it was just the bare minimum, especially towards the end. Unsurprisingly, I never converted anyone.

If the god of the Watchtower exists and proves to me beyond any shadow of a doubt that he exists, I would rather die a slow and painful death than serve him. If their god exists (against all the evidence) then he is evil.
