It looks like a pitiful attempt to put on a happy face after the drubbing they took from Dateline last month. "Love your children" indeed!

i can not beleive what i just saw on the all news channel.
it was a commercial endorsed by the christain congregation of jehovah's witnesses.. the commercial starts off with a mom checking on her son,who can not sleep .
he is upset and by the drawing he did, you can tell it is about the world trade center attacks.

I just saw "Orange County" last night with Colin Hanks and Jack Black. I've never been a real big fan of Black, but he had me laughing so hard last night that I had tears in my eyes.
BTW, did any of you ever remember "Mr. Show" on HBO? They did a wickedly funny parody of Jesus Christ Superstar called Jeepers Creepers and Black played Jeepers. Hilarious!

ok, so he never married.. was a tent maker - the biggest give-away.
had a hatred for women - women put in their place in congregation.. this thorn in his flesh - a weakness that he constantly struggled with.. .
sorry, just for a laugh.
Good point. Thanks, Joel.

about a month ago, heaven started a thread about ag going to court.
i haven't heard whether this has happened or not, but i tried to download a couple of songs last night and found it impossible.
no matter what the song or who the artist, popular, jazz or classical, copyrighted or not----nothing but xxxxxxx's.
Unfortunately, it look like AudioGalaxy has gone the way of the dodo.
i was laying in bed last night thinking how lucky i am that i havent had to undergo the mental torture of attending the district convention.
then i started reminiscing about the old days and i suddenly remembered those ridiculous tickets you had to buy to pay for food.
they were those brown cheap cardboard type efforts with i think 10 tickets per sheet.
I used to love those little food tickets. Don't get me wrong, I hated the hassle of actually having to stand in line for 40 minutes to buy the blasted things, but they did make neat little toys while you were bored to tears at your seat. My favorite was to fold them up and make them into a little accordion or a set of steps.
BTW, we never had hot meals at our conventions. Usually it was sandwiches and warm salads. It seemed that they insisted on making horrid food items that no one in their right minds would eat.

i don't see why we should allow such blatant discrimination on the board as to allow a thread "for women" only, asking their favorite men's cologne.
so guys and blokes, so that we can participate, how's about declaring before these ladies your favorite cologne/after shave?
mine's tuscany.
Have to agree with Zenpunk...Pleasures for Men is my favorite fragrance.

i just found out that my car insurance will not be renwed next month because my agent is no longer with that company.
so now i'm shopping around for some and was wondering if anyone knew of some good sites or plans that could help me out.
i'm in fl btw if that helps any!.
Well, I backed into God once and my insurance did not cover it - be careful Venice.
Too funny! Nearly made me blow Diet Coke out my nose.
Seriously, I've had pretty good luck with Nationwide insurance. I've got full coverage and even when my car was brand new I wasn't paying more than $80 a month, tops. Since it's paid off now, I'm carrying a $500 deductible and full coverage and I'm paying about $42.

everybody has their own cure for a hangover.
i was talking to a guy last week, and he suggested taking two advil and drinking a glass of milk as soon as you wake up.
somebody else i talked to suggested drinking ginger ale.
I've got a friend who swears by vanilla milkshakes, french fries and generous helpings of Goodie powders on the day after. She claims you need the milk and grease to soak up the alcohol.

late last night, i made a grilled cheese sandwhich and stuck "wayne's world" in the vcr.
i've seen it dozens of times, but it never stops being funny!
and i thought about how clever mike meyers is to come up with such a great character like wayne campbell... then i thought about austin powers and the fact that part three is coming out soon!
Bigboi,
Mac beat me to it, but his name was Simon. That reminds me of that old cartoon they used to show on Captain Kangaroo called Simon about the kid who made magical drawings. I've always wondered if Mike Meyers drew his inspiration from that. The theme songs are eerily similar.

i was going to respond to isps topic on preventing homosexuality dr. j nicolosi, but due to its number of responses, decided to start a new topic.. nicolosi's comments were prominently referred to in the three 1995 awake!
articles about homosexuality in the "young people ask" section.
i had just come out recently and read the articles.
Hi Spaz,
Will do. I'm very interested in this, but I've got a feeling that most of the studies conducted have been by groups with an 'agenda' either pro or against. I would be incredibly interested in seeing some statistics performed by third party groups, but I doubt there are any like that.
