The Oklahoma City skyline at Christmastime (No atheists need apply)
by RisingEagle ini was zipping along, driving towards downtown at dusk this evening to pick up the mrs from work.
i was sitting with my niv bible under my left butt cheek (i use it to balance out my 2 1/2 inch wallet in my right back pocket) and flipping channels between the three christian rock channels available trying to find the best christmas music to sing along with.
i happened to look up at our skyline and noticed that the folks at two of the largest and tallest buildings downtown had begun to configure the lights inside for the holidays.

i have been thinking about the subject off and on as the pavo day draws near, now i know why.
my cell phone rang while i was doing laundry and checking for random kleenex in the pockets (thanks bem and misanthropic).

A jw/Bridezilla
by RisingEagle ini have an extremely active jw relative that manages to 'break' her computer at least twice a week and asks me to fix whatever problem she has caused.
it's so bad sometimes that i would not be suprised to go to her home and find whiteout on the monitor screen.
so today i am undoing a simple problem with her e-mail when i see, "xx and yy's wedding pics".

Crocs and assisted suicide attempts
by RisingEagle inthey are the shoes that everyone loves to hate.
they are also the shoes that have fans that will disregard what others in this world say about them in regards to fashion and taste.
if you wear and love them, you just don't care, your feet are happy and that's all that matters.

Halloween Joke
by RisingEagle inan extremely modest man was in the hospital for a series of tests, the last which had left his bodily systems extremely upset.. .
upon making several false alarm trips to the bathroom, he decided the latest episode was another false alarm and stayed put.
he suddenly filled his bed with diarrhea and was embarrassed beyond his ability to remain rational.. .

How many senses do we have?
by RisingEagle insight, smell, touch, hearing and taste.
according to the author of a book i was looking at recently we have at least eight.
those previously listed and these: the ability to sense heat or temperature, the ability to sense pain and awareness of the location of our body parts.
