  Things I Never Knew When I Was A Witness!

  there are some things that as a witness i never knew.

  maybe i was just going through the motions, attending meetings and not listening much.

  never was very good at personal study or underlining answers in watchtower or book study (i never ever answered up) was too shy.. i never knew when i was a witness that they taught that jesus had looked down on the earth in 1919 to see who was serving god most accurately, and of course he chose a small group of bible students living in america!

  I wonder if part of the trick is that ,

  when you do hear something that seems a bit nuts,

  it doesn't seem to bother anybody else....

  So ,somehow, it must just be you that doesn't really understand

  Peer pressure I guess has a lot to do with it.

  ralph and pam candelario were active jws in colorado.

  ralph murdered pam.

  professor jim penton was invited to appear at the trial last month by the prosecution as an expert witness to answer questions about jws.

  it is hard to teach that the earth is flat these day do to a more informed society, and now that we have entered the information age i see a whole new ball game is before a rather ignorant bunch of old farts called the governing body.

  these guys are totally ignorant by choice and are trying desperately to keep their captive's ignorant for as long as possible.

  the gb's internet apperances are all laughable to any sane individual and a total embarasement.

  I think there must be some 'truth' to that, (pardon the pun)

  I wish I had the internet at my fingertips years ago.

  I mean before the 'net', there was so much more mystque about the GB.

  these mysterious faithful brothers that 'Jeh' uses.

  Everybody knew of Freddy of course, but as to the rest, anonymity served them well.

  Now that you can see and hear them though...( Steven Lett springs to mind )

  i'm sure there are countless opinions on whether you should get a tattoo or not.

  my personal view is that if you were to get one it should mean something.. anyone get a tattoo to remember their jw roots?

  i was thinking of getting a tetragrammaton somewhere.

  I know it's a lot of words,

  it's fiction, but on the money as far as the experience of an adolescent reconciling the beliefs with his natural biological urges.

  imagine the children forced to sit in the summer heat at yankee stadium for 12 hours a day.
