..A Bird with 5 Toes..

good evening jwd!

!..i`ve got a mystery here,in the canadian wilderness.....i`ve found tracks of a creature in the snow,i can`t identify.....it`s a bird of some sort..but..it`s frigg`n huge!

!..it`s feet are as big as my hand..i`ve got a 100lb "husky dog" whose feet aren`t that big.....it has 5 toes..4 toes up front..and..1 in the back.....the 2 middle toes are the same length,the 2 side toes are smaller but also equal in length..the whole foot is a "v_shape,with a large toe at the back of the foot.......what the hell kind of a bird,has 5 toes and feet that frigg`n big???..lol!

Yes I know there are no nuclear plants in BC, but birds fly don't they. And as for Screech rum well SCREEEEECH get it, bird noises.....nevermind.

Maybe a mutant bird that lived too close to a nuclear plant. Or how much Screeech did you have? LOL

PRAYERS that you have endured.....

in the course of our wasted time in the org we have all expierenced/ suffered through the ten minute closing prayers at assemblies/conventions.

so many times there have been others that just couldn't escape our attention.

humble wanna be's, pious glorified one's, and just out and out condemnatory oratories to the flock.

Can you remember needing to go to the bathroom just as the prayer began? phew! almost didn't make it!

i'm a baptized member considered ''inactive.

'' i don't hand in ''service reports'',attend maybe 3 meetings a month,ain't signed up for the ministry school and will never attend any convention or the ''book study.

'' always make the ''memorial.

This is my first post after many years of reading this site

this is my first post after many years of reading this site.

i am from the west midlands, england.

i was raised as a jw and got baptised aged 17, started "fading" whilst at university when i started to broaden my outlook and realised that all the so-called "worldly people" i had for so long been encouraged to avoid associating with were actually often open-minded, honest, generous and loyal people.

My guilt of leaving, so deep-ingrained guilt, is easing slowly.

and yes the guilt keeps us in line doesn't it. I just remind myself "no more this is my life".

when i was a witness years ago my self righteous ex-wife ( a witness ) always tried to control my rock n' roll spirit within me - to no avail .

it finally burst forth all over the place as years went by .

Thinking of giving it all up!

i am sure this isn't a mid-life crisis i have done that and got out of the jws.

.

but i am seriously thinking of just leaving the west with its rat race, emphasis on money, senseless tv and media, cars, shopping malls, pre-packaged food, supermarkets, etc, etc, and moving to india to live in a small cottage near a beach somewhere.. anyone else got the urge to get out of the rat-race?.
