  I don`t think the" 1914 " doctrine will be as big a problem as people seem to think.If the spin doctors can twist the" generation"doctrine around the way they did and get away with it, without to much fuss ,then 1914 wont really be an issue for them,they will just put some new twist to it.

  Why would an omnipotent ,omniprescent,omniscient, God,creator of the universe leave it up to a miniscule people on earth to( ,and flawed at that,)promote an all loving God who is interested in all mankind,when the facts show otherwise.India,Pakistan,china,bangladesh,the arab countries just to name a few,these are billions of people who never get a "witness",wherein Jesus has been around for 2 thousand years,and he is only known in certain western lands.It doesn`t sound like he`s done a great job does it And if God the father of jesus truly loves the world of mankind then why the crap doesnt he just go ahead and do it ,instead of shifting the blame on imperfect human beings.Jesus Christ has had 2000 yrs to save humankind,He hasn`t done so

  The old big orange "Paradise" book

  anyone remember that?

  i learned to read on that book.there were some very disturbing images,like the earth opening up and people falling into it.like upside down ladies and hippies.id love to get a hold of one and peruse it with a friend and some herbal medicine.maybe there is one in the attic?anyway,that and the image of the snake talking to the beautiful,bare shouldered eve,who was holding an apple,made a big impression on me.any else have any faves from that book?is it still being used?.

  I think that was the 1st book I was introduced to.I was 19 yrs old not religously inclined and my mentor thought, that would be a good introduction to the" truth."How wrong can we all be!!!

  looking for quote about research own religion

  i am looking for some sort of quote to show the kids that its ok to investigate their own religion.

  something from a recent book or watchtower would be great!.

  like... nothing to fear, we have nothing to hide, truth can stand investigation, make sure of it foryourself sort of thing i guess!.

  I only have a couple of publications in my posession,older ones at that,but maybe you could use this.With some refinements:" Knowledge That Leads To Everlasting Life" chap.2 Par.3 1995 " The watchtower fills all our needs for wise direction.True many are overwhelmed when they first look through the watchtower.It is a big publishing agency,and some portions of it are not easy to understand.But if you were given a legal document outlining what you had to do in order to receive a valuable inheritance,would you not take the time to study it carefully?If you found certain parts of the watchtower hard to understand,likely you would get the help of someone experienced in such matters.More is at stake than a material inheritance. Knowledge of the watchtower can lead to an enlightened future."

  Nobody......,but.... NOBODY loves you like a dog. Enjoy your relationship with them while you can.I still feel guilty when I was cross with my toy poodle because I didn`t understand what she was trying to convey to me,and I scolded her at times.After 16.5 yrs when I had to put her down I sobbed my heart out. Cherish your relationship with your animals. ( Maybe God should have stopped creating after the animals and forgot about humans)

  i brought this up to debator on another thread... and he/she ignored it... thought the subject deserved its own thread...for anyone who has never read the finished mystery.. .

  the watchtower claims that jesus inspected the churches in 1919 and chose the watchtower to represent god on earth, based upon the spiritual food they were dispensing at that time.. .
