I simply asked for suggestions on what men would like this year. Maybe there are some new items out that the MEN on this board could suggest. Me being a WOMAN may not know about some of the things out there. And for your FYI I know personally several of the posters on this board...so suck it!

Sadly I think a lot more areas are going to become like that. You should buy a gun, but go through the class to learn how to properly use it. I believe everyone has the right to protect themselves and their families.

My son is already making his list. He is getting older (11) and is growing out of just wanting toys. He has asked for PS3 games (specifically Modern Warfare) and above all else....lots of cash! lol
I've got a serious addiction to KVZ purses. I just found out my M-I-L bought me a new purse and one of the Rolling Travel suitcases made by Kathy Van Zeeland! Yay!!! But have to wait till christmas to get it.
Got to think of something for the hubby.....You guys are so difficult! lol Give me some suggestions for a man that doesn't need anything (he already has me! )

my sister called me tonight, and reminded me of this, i had forgotten.
- there was an engagement party and the whole cong was invited.
- the fourth of six kids, and it was in a function room with no bar.. everyone was allowed one glass of wine and no one was allowed to bring any.
Most of our functions weren't that bad. We always had fun and usually ended up drunk! (even the elders in that group, good example, eh?)
The worst would be when I went to a childhood friend's wedding. He married a girl that lived about 1 1/2hr from where we grew up. People in that area are just different (to say the least). The wedding was okay, just very simple and he had most of the elders in his hall be his groomsmen (which was weird, cause he was early 20's and they were all in their 50's)and then the reception....I was praying for someone to shoot me! Boring as hell. They only had one table, that's right one table set up for the bride and groom only. Chairs set around for everyone else. The only thing they served was punch, bowls of peanuts, and bowls of those little colored dinner mints!! The cake was just a simple sheet cake. No music, no booze, just very dry. Everyone was basically sitting and staring at each other. Stayed for about 45 minutes (just out of kindness for him) and made up an excuse I had to leave to go pick up my baby son from the sitter. I was so embarrased for him!

i mentioned the 2 nosy jw elders poking around my house 2 weeks ago (and posted a week ago here..and cannot believe it hit 2100+ views).... let me add this disturbing update...no..no jc yet....no word from the 2 old lackeys either.... my fiancee and her son and i were at a winery/restaraunt last sunday (a bad place for an 8yo...overpriced food unappreciated by a kid) when i looked over at the next table on the rooftop deck, overlooking the illinois river, and seen what appeared to be 2 jws ladies and an obviously not jw man with them... on closer look, the one woman was a single jw sister who had a thing for me....and i was chairman of her jc for fornication (not with me...lol).... and another sister..and her non-jw hubby.... i am certain that the single sister seen me but didn't say anything.
i actually recognized the ubm first.
as they were leaving, the married jw sister came over...i introduced my fiancee....and the dub could not help but mention this "wonderful" jw elder that moved into their congo at the request of the co....he is wonderful like roaches are wonderful.....but i digress.
That's BS!!! I say sick Shelly & Jackie on the bitch!!!! lol Although....I'm pretty sure Toni can hold her own! It does put her in a bad position, cause she is at work and that's probably why they are harrasing her there, knowing she will be kind to them. Toni could just talk to her manager and have the manager ask them to leave if they come back.
i again find myself in that position that i'm hoping for a guy to text me or call me back...will he?.
