The WTS quotes from the "Emphatic Diaglott" by Benjamin Wilson, who was a Christadelphian. They are a Unitarian sect who do not believe in the pre-existence of Jesus.

Two Questions...

i need to draw on your collective jw knowledge here; i have two questions:.

1. if satan is supposed to be the ruler of this world and jesus' arrived invisibly in 1914 to rule the world, surely only one is true.. 2. the "knocking" documentary put the dubs on television, does that make them "teledubbies" ?.

I think that linking back to Terry's post a few days ago, if you are not affiliated to any earthly spiritual organisation, you are on far stronger ground for debating with the JWs because they cannot return the argument and unearth the bones in any particular organisation's closet.

JW's kick out naysayers (apostates) as fast as possible, but, Jehovah allowed Satan the run of heaven for millennia: what gives with the double standard???
Who is worse: a troubled publisher wanting clarification on flip-flop issues or a demon trying to tear angels away from God's throne?

That is true. I can't understand why "digging deep" into the history of the JW movement should get one disfellowshipped.

UNLESS, they imagine that if you have dug deep, and discovered some old bones, then you have already eaten from the fruit of the Apostaberry tree !
