The selling off of kingdom halls everywhere is another evidence of that fact- making JW's having to travel in some cases 30 miles one way to just go to meetings because their kingdom halls are sold off for " mother's " financial benefit to the detriment of rank & file JW's needs. To the GB THOSE needs are not important- what's important is the financial success of the WT organization. Pretty twisted and sick - yet they claim to be " Christians " . How Detached Are The Governing Body From Members Of the Bethel Family Where They Live?

the gb simply reassigned them out in the field for after many years of service it seems with out batting an eye with no real severance pay.
now to me that spells detachment and lack of any real concern for those who served loyally for years.. spain is trying to get some type benefits for the people/citizens in their country who served the wt corporation for years and are no longer of any use to the corporation.

Actually a generation is about 25-30 years by definition. So it was the 3rd to 4th Governing Body generation to see the Cubs win it all. I'm totally happy for Cubs fans and the Cubs ! It might also be a " saving face " move or statement covering the GB's ass if any of them got indicted on criminal charges concerning child abuse issues, no blood transfusion issues, or financial finagling issues that gets them breaking the law. I think they DEFINITELY deserve it. If my S.F. Giants won 3 World Series in the last 7 years- your Cubs DEFINITELY deserve to win their 1st World series since 1908. Even in spite of the Cubs knocking S.F. out of the playoffs. I want my friends team to win !
I know, I know Cleveland fans you guys haven't won one since 1948 - your time will come too ( perhaps sooner than we think ) - but hey - we weren't even in the imaginary " last days of this system of things " in 1908 ! Jesus wasn't even " ruling in heaven " in an imaginary, fictitious way ! There have been about 3 to 4 overlapping generations of 30 years each since the Cubs last won a World Series. Go Cubs ! They need to bring out a goat onto the field before tonight's game and sacrifice it . A dead goat of course. Burn the mother-f-er ' . Roast that baby and serve it to the Cubs players before they play. At this point it might really help.
Cubs need to start scoring some of these runners they put on base. Damned Cleveland pitching is tough stuff man. They still have a shot. Numbers of teams have come back from a 3-1 deficit. I truly believe this Cubs team can do it too ! Keep the faith bro- don't give up yet ! I'll be doing my native American chants for a win while watching it at a restaurant tonight on the road working.
