How soon would a new Elders' Book leak?

as the shepherd the flock book is now in the public domain, if the .org decides to create a new manual, how soon will it be leaked?.

this is mostly a question for wifibandit, but anyone else who may know is welcome to answer.

would it be a matter of days before we get a .pdf?

Indeed it would be leaked almost immediately and we'd have several folks here PDF.ing the hell out of it for others really quick. Possibly within minutes or an hour of them getting it. Access to information is everything baby

i've so far only listened to the first 10 minutes.

Dazed- Thanks for posting this ! My wife and I are helping my son & girlfriend move today- but when I get more time I definitely want to watch all of this. Have read all 3 of his books and they are outstanding. Been very helpful to my progressing in life after exiting the JW cult 12 years ago. People in general tend to minimize the real dangers of mind or thought control. This is a very important topic. Thanks again

before another day goes past please, summarize the outcome in dot points of the royal commission so far.

for me in no order;.

that the wt considers sex crimes against children of little importance.

Closer To Fine's comment about these WT elders or attorneys " throwing themselves under the bus to protect the GB " is very accurate. As I mentioned on another thread the GB and WT leaders have mind controlled and indoctrinated these elders SO badly that they will even stand up on behalf of the governing body to support crimes committed . Which makes them accomplices to the covering over of child abuse criminally. It's called the " Stockholm Syndrome " where a captive identifies with their captors - in this case the GB and WT Society leaders. Angus Stewart recognized this fact when he called the JW's a " captive " organization. No acceptable way to exit or leave without being shunned or punished by the WT organization. Peace out, MR. if you watched the questioning of terrence o'brien by angus stewart at day 7 part 3 on youtube--thanks so much for uploading these videos--you'll see that mr. stewart puts quite clearly to brother o'brien that the jw 0rganization is a "captive organization".. he makes this reference regarding the practice of da/df'ing and shunning, which he mentions is the one thing that makes ex-jw's the most angry.

because insisting on shunning ex-members causes psychological trauma and separates people from their family, friends and their community of support; therefore, they are held captive by the organization if they don't want to lose those most dear to them.. i believe angus stewart is to be commended for seeing clearly what the wt/jw religion is truly like in practice, and it isn't pretty.. the term "captive organization" is usually used in finance to mean a business front, a legal veil that shields the parent company from liability and having to make big insurance payouts.

for example if the australian branch gets sued and loses, the "wt australia" corporation will pay the amount awarded by the judge to the complainant.

Angus Stewart is one shrewd dude. I've really enjoyed watching him dissect and operate on the psychology of these mind controlled drones he's been interviewing during the commission hearings. I'm very impressed.

He's dead on correct of course calling the Jehovah's Witnesses a " captive organization ". And it goes one step further. Jehovah's Witnesses are a " criminal organization " masquerading as a religion which keeps captives controlled under psychological lockdown in their minds.

It's like EVERY JW is trained, manipulated, coerced, and indoctrinated to make ANY excuses for the criminal conduct of WT leaders even justifying that conduct by any means or measures. In the REAL world that's called being under the influence of " Stockholm Syndrome " whereby the captives identify with their captors and not only make excuses for their crimes- but become complicit WITH them in committing and hiding these crimes. Thus we've seen that on an elder level within congregations, a family level where husbands and wives keep secret abuse of even their own children. Its disgusting and as Angus Stewart has remarked rightly so several times during these commission hearings- it's " highly unethical " and not " moral " at all.

It's high time for the entire world to see the WT Society is a criminal organization hiding these actions. I'm glad to see it being exposed

WIFIBANDIT- You asked in regards to the WT statement, " we are now saying that the elders should comply with the law ".

You asked, " What were they saying before ? "

WT leaders were saying, " You should skirt around the law and not get into any unnecessary entanglements with law authorities regarding confidential matters as this could result in unnecessary lawsuits towards the WT Society. "

In a nutshell that's what they HAVE been saying. Possibly WT leaders are trying to SAY the right thing to the Australia commission to make a good impression - but when things cool down and the commission looks away just for a minute- WT Society will go back to their status quo skirting the law type of practices. My 2 cents

Finally had some time to watch the entire part 1 of Day 7 here. Wife and I are now watching part 2 of day 7 . Wanted to share certain parts of part 1 for those who haven't listened to it in entirety :

At 40:00 to 43:00 minute mark the WT lawyer Toole states, " We always supply documents and information to the courts when they request them ". Liar .

At 46:00 to 48:00 minute mark Toole states after reading Romans 13:1,2 about being in subjection to superior authorities that, " we are never encouraged to disobey the law - that would be in contradiction to Romans 13: 1,2 ". Obviously Toole ignores the fact that WT Society lawyers AND elders HAVE been in direct contradiction of the Romans scripture by NOT reporting certain instances of child abuse to superior authorities. They do NOT obey this scriptural " law " always. Many times they ignore it.

At the 51:00 minute mark to 52:00 minute mark Toole states, " In the last 15 years when the authorities have requested information ( regarding child abuse ) we have completely cooperated ." More lies.

The segment at the 58:00 minute mark and 1:04 minute mark gets pretty heated between Angus Stewart and Toole. Toole gets pretty adamant. Angus Stewart states, " It's possible to make a distinction between what the law may require and what is right and wrong. It's important to pursue the morality to report to do the right thing. " Then WT lawyer Toole's response was , " we can't violate the right of people to report child abuse if it doesn't serve their family's best interest. " Then Stewart replied, " But children may not have the power to report being abused by a parent. In this case elders DO have the responsibility to report child abuse in these cases. " Stewart stood his ground against Toole. Good job.

Then at the 1:06 to 1:10 minute mark Stewarts questions get even MORE pointed towards Toole, he asks, " There are a list of case files of child molesters but no list of names in the service department ? " Toole replies, " They use the list of case files- no names. " Stewart asks, " Is there a list of the case files ? " Toole replies, " I don't know". Stewart mentions that in May of 2015 a subpoena was issued to the WT Society requesting a list of all people who were child molesters within the Witnesses . Toole replies, " We've attempted to comply. The Branch Committee isn't giving the list of names to the Governing Body, just case files. " Stewart seems befuddled as to why NAMES are not used - just case numbers.

Then Stewart confronts Toole about BGC ( child abuse victim's ) letter to Toole asking for help to bring her JW molester dad to justice. Stewart asks, " What did you do regarding the letter. " Toole replies, " I don't recall. " Stewart says, " BGC wrote you my Father abused my 2 sisters and the matter has not been dealt with. " Stewart asks Toole, " What did you do after receiving this letter ? " Toole's reply, " I don't recall. " Toole says, " I think I would have taken it to the Service Department . " Stewart asks, "Did you follow it up to the Service Department ? " Toole replies, " I don't recall. "

So Toole shows that towards the end of Day 1 that he suddenly developed a selective case of amnesia where he could not recall much of anything. These WT lawyers are nothing but snakes trying to slime their way out of responsibility for wrong actions regarding the reporting of JW child abuse

My take on this is that there's no way in hell Jackson was ever going to appear before the Australia commission. I mean think of the Pandora's Box THAT would open.

GB member Gerrit Losch already refused to appear to the American court in San Diego, California when he was ordered to appear and the WT Society was instructed to supply documents concerning their child abuse policies - which they refused to do. Even still refusing though it cost them 13.5 million in lawsuit payouts due to standing in contempt of court ! Just think of the OTHER child abuse crap they are hiding in Australia .

WT leaders feel they are ABOVE the laws of the land because they feel they ARE the ultimate and final law of the land based on thinking they are " God " or " Jesus " themselves or at least at their right hand. Too much arrogance - they need to be brought down to put some real into their reality

SOFIA LOSE- Yes, I agree. I think this Australian commission's interrogation process is very damaging to the WT Society's credibility- but I still feel it won't cause arrogant WT leaders to change anything in their child abuse policies. WT leaders feel that they ARE Gods- they don't have to change for anybody except their own financial benefits and purposes

PETE- Oh well. I'd still be happy to accommodate sending your brother something if we could figure out a way to do it undercover without him figuring you put me up to it. Yeah, I've heard that some Kingdom halls have gate security cameras now. One of my old congregations has that too - so a couple years ago I just wore sunglasses and a hat and stuck some WT child abuse lawsuit printouts in their fence. I don't know what became of it- but I know SOME JW saw it. LOL

no one has shown anything but great interest and empathy for those who were abused.. i don't know who this simonsays character is though and i find him to be very rude and ignorant.

it takes all kinds to make the world go round i suppose.. today i was contacted by a staff member of the royal commission.

Here in the states it's such a sacred cow thing the way the government tiptoes around religion.
