  PERRY- Just out of sheer morbid curiosity - how do you feel about a Sasquatch and human females procreating ? Is THIS a sin ? It actually HAS happened and been documented in Canada and the state of Washington. It produced a hairier form of hybrid offspring who ( understandably ) had a hard time in society due to prejudices from knuckleheads. What if two male Sasquatches got together ? Would it bother you ? What about two female Sasquatches ? Would you be offended ? Granted they both might cough up hairballs- but that's for another thread entirely.

  But the fact remains that you have a group of scientists right there in Texas who proved the Sasquatch DNA was human and a mix of other " unidentifiable " nature. So don't sweat it- if there is a God I'm sure that he's down with human and Sasquatches having sex. Sasquatches have kidnapped Native American girls for centuries and incorporated them into their tribes. Perhaps Sasquatches descend from the Bible character " Esau " - wasn't he called the" HAIRIER " of the two brothers between him and Jacob ? Thought I'd throw an interesting twist into this discussion . LOL

  Candace is a brave woman and should be respected and commended for her courage of taking on the huge corporation the WT Society and forcing them to come out and have light shed on the very dark practice of harboring child molesters. She accomplished that in a very public way through PBS News hour and ABC Nightline News. Kendrick and the WT Society were exposed for the monsters they really are. Great job Candace, may you have peace in your life now ! Peace out, mr. Flipper

  BLUES BROTHER- I think it's like the old expression " misery loves company " - some of our JW family or friends might secretly have doubts themselves they keep inside without telling anybody- so outwardly they have to TALK like they really do believe it by claiming that those of us who left " REALLY " believe it - so they can convince themselves that THEY believe it as well. A " cognizant dissonance " kind of thing- if you get my drift. Kind of how I see this. Good thread, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  Added to note: That way they can continue to live in denial thinking that we still believe in it- thus not disturbing the alignment in their JW universe.

  Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...

  greetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.

  and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.

  but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

  TITCH- Good thread. I was 16 years old at the time and I can't remember anything at all happening indicating any real " end ". All I was concerned about at age 16 was meeting girls and trying to masturbate without my elder dad or my mom getting suspicious after doing the wash ! Trying to listen to my Led Zeppelin music on my headphones without my elder dad snarling at me, " What are you listening too !!?? "

  And here we ALL are still ! 40 years later ! And some of us will still be here 40 years later in 2055 as well. Ain't no " end " gonna happen. We need to live our life in the here and now

  Ran into some JW's.......but this time I did the teaching ;) x

  so i went out today with my broken leg and got accosted by an old lady, with some magazines.. it was my first ever encounter with a jw in ten years, and i had said 'i know you are jw's, i'm not interested thank you.

  " twice.....then she started talking about my broken leg and how wonderful we are made and how amazing the healing process is.... and that's when it all started...."i used to be a bethelite pioneer, now i'm an atheist doctor...".

  she was with me a good 30 mins, her elder husband left very annoyed but she stayed, and she was dying to hear everything i spurted out, despite aggressively defending every point, from military engines to paedophilia.

  SNARE & RACKET- I'm proud of you man, you did a fantastic job ! Very well done ! Indeed you gave that older JW lady something to think about. I have found in talking to JW's that the women are MUCH more open to being reasoned with than their elder husbands. I had a similar experience a few months ago talking to JW cart people. The elder was so pissed off that he cussed at me , used the word " shit " and threw my child abuse news printouts away.

  You did a good deed my friend. Access to information is important- and you provided it for her, good job. Her husband can go sit on his thumb and rotate, don't worry about him, he's a dolt. I hope your leg gets better my friend, take care and hope you heal soon. Thanks for sharing this, very encouraging ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  am3rd life story is in may 15th 2015 study wt.. after reading, he sounds very mental unstable.

  i know you guys will be saying "yeah, obviously he is"...but we don't have any concrete evidence saying he has a mental condition.. has anyone ever dug a little deeper, perhaps try to find some people who would have known him from the army?

  Anthony Morris is a big ass egotist to the hilt to be making statements that his children make him and his wife look good. To many JW men in authority positions- it's all about appearance. In fact- to most members who are JW's - it's all about appearance. What your ranking is, how your " standing " in the congregation is. How are you " advancing " ? Not " advancing " in the fruitages of the spirit or " Christian " qualities- but how are you " advancing " or moving up in the organization . Are you a pioneer yet ? Work on it, it's not enough. Are you an elder ? Are you a ministerial servant ? Everyone is judged based on how much they are putting out for the WT organization- not how humble, meek, or kind they are. That's why bastards like Tony Morris excel in that environment

  JW's and Violence

  my wife and i have recently gotten hooked on the history channel's series, vikings.

  (my wife is full blooded norwegian....).

  to be honest, the show is quite graphic in spots, but certainly no more so than a history book i own of the same time period.. anyhow, we made the mistake of mentioning the show if front of jw's last night and they were all thoroughly shocked that we watch it.. i tried pointing out that big chunks of the ot are not materially different and that even the confrontation between david and goliath would get an 'r' rating if it were visually portrayed in any detail at all.

  If they were to make a movie about the modern day WT Society and the organization it would include the murder of men, women, and children for not taking life saving blood transfusions on the orders of WT leaders, the toleration and hiding of felony child abuse on the orders of WT leaders, Malawi citizens being massacred for not signing a political party card on the orders of WT leaders, yet Mexico JW men being allowed to serve in the military service without WT leaders batting an eye on their orders, JW families being instructed to shun any family members or friends who disagree with the WT organization and called " mentally diseased " - all on the WT leaders orders.
