'Conti' Court decision secures Watchtower's Policy of confidentiality

TRUTHSEEKERIAM hit the nail on the head. The Conti decision had NOTHING to do whatsoever with the 13.5 million judgment in the Lopez trial. The courts whacked the WT Society over the head with that penalty for refusing to hand over court requested documents about their child abuse policies AND their list of child molesters within their organization. AND the fact that Gerrit Losch refused to testify for the WT Society when the courts requested him to do so. So WT Society actually was in contempt of court for refusing to cooperate. So they got fined.

And as Truthseekeriam stated GB member Stephen Lett actually lied on JW.org T.V. when denying that the WT Society IS negligent and permissive towards pedophiles. He was just using JW.org as a convenient marketing tool to exploit and dilute the real truth of what's going on in order to calm down or put aside any " fears " or " concerns " JW's may have due to what's being broadcast on network news or the Internet concerning the reality of WT child abuse negligence. I had breakfast with 50+ JWs on Sunday

we pulled into a hotel parking lot saturday around 6pm on the return leg of a wonderful family vacation to new england - an then fate stepped in---a man in a suit got out of a car with the rest of a picture perfect family.

i immediately noticed all the name tags--- and my blood pressure spiked 50pts- damn!!

i was booked in a 4 story hotel full of jws-- the only time they took off the name tags was in the swimming pool- they were so proud of themselves.. at 6:30 am the hot water went cold in the wife's shower- what do you expect on the 4th floor when a herd of jws is trying to get ready at the same time?

Being shunned only increases my certainty that the WBT$ is a cult

well, i don't wanna rant too much but sometimes things cut you don't they.. a family member had a get together for the family, jw and non jw and of course i wasn't invited being da'd.. i understand why they couldn't invite me but it just made me think.

in normal society this wouldn't happen.

i'd have been there.. the shunning is so unnatural and damaging.

PUNK- I feel you bro. I was shunned for 7 years or more from my oldest JW daughter- until recently she got back in touch with me due to her pregnancy. But we'll see what happens. I have other JW siblings who shun me even though I'm not DFed. It's a criminal organization causing people to do criminal and barbaric and inhumane things. We love ya Punky, always remember. Music's a healer too- but you know that already. Play on bro

Thanks for posting this Barbara. WT Society IS a criminal organization committing crimes against children. Period mark. Exclamation point. No debates or questions about that whatsoever. Actually in Steve Hassan's 2nd and 3rd books " Releasing the Bonds " and " Freedom of Mind " he does mention Jehovah's Witnesses as being a cult several times. His 1st book " Combatting Cult Mind Control " was the ONLY one of his 3 books where he did not mention JW's as being a mind control cult. " Releasing the Bonds " was written I believe in 2000 and " Freedom of Mind " 2012 - so it's not really a NEW thing that Hassan is classifying JW's as a cult. But I understand the latest quote is new though. Thought I'd add a little bit here

it deals with dreamwork therapy in which he conducted seminars helping people to re-connect with subconscious parts of themselves by recounting their dreams .

SPARROWDOWN- Oh yeah , most definitely it is normal to be aware that you are dreaming. It's also normal to NOT be aware that you are dreaming. It goes both ways. I've had some dreams where it seemed so real that I didn't realize it was just a dream until I woke up- however I've had dreams where I'm dreaming and I'm aware that it is a dream I'm experiencing. It's weird how it works both ways. I can't explain it- I've just experienced it like you have. Thanks for your input ! Take care, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

LISA ROSE- Very true what you state about dreams, we all dream every night, it's just that we don't remember them all. I believe getting a good 8 hours straight of uninterrupted sleep is very important to remembering our dreams in order to get to that REM stage of sleep denoting rapid eye movement. Good point you mention about sitting or laying quietly trying to meditate on our dreams right after we wake up as we will remember them more, and writing them down immediately. I have been writing down all my dreams that I can remember now for over four and a half years since December of 2010 when I started sleeping more at night due to a lighter work schedule.

In over four and a half years I have written down 447 pages of dreams at this point. Pretty crazy, eh ? But I feel it helps me to re-own that subconscious part of my brain that many people choose to ignore. I feel it helps my intuition and my gut instincts in processing my emotions and personality on a personal basis - something that's hiding deep within every one of us. And yes indeed, I always dream in color- never black and white, very vivid dreams and for sure some of them are long like movie plots sometimes ! LOL. Some are much shorter- just depends how much sleep I get on many occasions. Thanks for your thoughts and input ! I appreciate it ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
