My Last thoughts in Field Service Before the Elderly Man Shat Himself and Pissed his pants in My New Car!

debating this was going to be the last day in field service was not hard after dealing with a nasty mess because i was grouped with the misfits of the kingdom hall!

i was reading this website on my phone while something started to stink in my car and one of the weird kids nobody wanted to work with yelled "hey, you leaking all over my seat, he was freaked out too!

" the older, retired elder, his pioneer daughter had forgotten to put his depends on and that became my problem.

I had a couple weird experiences out in service, one was very positive, the other very awkward.

The positive one was when I was about 25 years old in the mid 1980's, me and a buddy were working out in service and knocked on a door where you could see inside the window to a stairway coming down to the front door. After ringing the bell- immediately a really attractive approximately 30 year old lady came running down the stairs stark naked only wearing her skin ! LOL ! She looked at us and kind of shook her hands to her side and said " oh shit " ! Then she ran back up the stairs giving us a full view of her glorious backside as well ! LOL ! Apparently she was expecting her boyfriend or husband at the door - but nope it was two young testosterone filled JW men calling ! So my buddy asked me " should we leave ? " and I told him, " well even naked ladies need the good news , let's knock one more time ! " So of course she didn't answer and we left. Really bizarre experience , but one you never forget.

Another time this same buddy of mine was with me and my then wife out in service going on return visits. Another young sister in her 20's was out in service with us as well sitting in the back seat with my buddy. He really liked her and was trying to impress her and get to know her. We had this cramped Ford Pinto car with no air conditioning working in 100 degree weather in the summer. My buddy was sweating his rear end off and sadly ; had not used any underarm deodorant or any kind of smell protection. Nobody was saying anything and the smell was rank let me tell you. So I made an excuse to stop at a grocery store and asked my buddy to come into the store with me. Then I privately asked him inside the store, " dude, did you use your deodorant today ? " He asked, " Oh, is it really bad ? " I said, " yeah " - I continued, " I know your really trying to impress Sister young and beautiful - so I thought we'd get you a little help here in the store. " My friend was very thankful to me and really appreciated me saying something. So he used the deodorant before going back to the car and it was a much more pleasant ride out in service. I don't think he got the girl- but at least he saved his dignity in front of her.

Anyway- if I think of more experiences I'll chime in later ! Good thread ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

i have a pretty good intuition but i have to admit i am going back and forth on the jw tv may broadcast.

i keep asking myself are they really in financial trouble (wishful thinking) or are they just grabbing for more money?.

i always appreciate reading everyone's thoughts and ideas on here.. let me know what you think.

I believe the WT Society is doing quite well financially , I mean it's a billion $$$ organization, right ? However that being said- I'm sure that all of these child abuse lawsuits coming against the WT Society are causing them to leak a little financial oil here and there.

So instead of being honest in telling the real truth to JW's on JW.org that " we need more donations in order to pay out money to our young brothers and sisters who are victims of child abuse " -instead- they have Stephen Lett get up there and manufacture the reasons for needing more donations for , " congregations being built, more kingdom halls, and the rising costs of spreading the good news of Jah's kingdom." It's the ultimate con game. The ultimate BS marketing ploy using guilt to induce JW's to see a perceived " need " in the organization - and then they all pat each other on the back for helping the organization out with this alleged " need ". And rank & file are none the wiser and just lap it up like kittens lapping up cream in a saucer. Cult mind control at it's most coercive , manipulative point. Unfortunately the GB have become experts at this. To the detriment of rank & file JW's

FREEMINDFADE- Hello from your bro Flipper. Thanks for the text message saying how freaking nuts the " donation song " is. An incredible understatement. LOL. The part that really got to me during that " donation song " was seeing the young lady get her credit card out and hit the " donate " button on her laptop . Made me want to break my computer screen in anger. Have these GB members no shame ? Have they no couth or ethics ? No they do not. They are an immoral bunch of Nazi's stealing rank & file JW's finances.

I see right through the fake little pretend smile on Stephen Lett's face. It's so plastic - yet it hides the criminal intentions of a criminal organization. Too bad I can't send them a song I wrote in September which I feel describes the situation perfectly.

there are some days when i am thrilled to report positive developments within the protestant world about the slow but steady shift taking place on issues relating to child sexual abuse.

just a few years ago, there was very little private or public discourse within most protestant circles about abuse within the church.

I like this request and beckoning to church leaders to be more responsible regarding preventing child abuse. Somehow I don't think we'd ever see the WT Society be as forthcoming or humble to demand this from their own elders and men in power. Too much pride and arrogance. WT leaders feel they only answer to themselves- NOT to God or a higher power

The deceased JW lady's mom stated about her JW daughter, " My daughter put the baby first each and every time. " Uh-huh. Except the last time when she killed her own baby by refusing to accept a life saving blood transfusion that could have saved her and her baby. How Come the Watchtower does not admit "We Don't Know Anything About Bible Prophecy" and come clean?

so many of us have been caught up in the negative effects this religion placed over our lives and those who we love very much.

i am the first one to tell my kids "i don't know s&^^ about this or that subject", if the watchtower is truly our brother or spiritual mother why don't they tell us the following questions we all have asked them?.

1. we screwed up about 1914 and "life is short, go live your life to the fullest while maintaining justice and morality, don't hurt your fellow man by making his life screwed up!.

POKER PLAYER PHILL- It's a pretty easy reason why the WT leaders don't come clean and admit fault. They are evil and arrogant assholes. Pretty much comes down to that. And the fact that in order to keep their billion $$$$ organization going they have to create " new light " to keep a proverbial carrot dangling in front of 8 million unsuspecting JW's. The carrot is called, " you will live forever in Paradise earth and never die or get sick where everybody will grow younger again. " People buy into this $hit like kittens lapping up cream in a saucer. Doesn't make it real though. People thrive on fantasy and being deluded

i've watched the reaction to the nepal disaster for the first time with eyes opened.

lots of comments about praying for the brothers and sisters affected.

the official release on the website references only the sister and her two children that died, along with the impact on the brothers there.

The WT Society has indoctrinated into the Jehovah's Witness mindset a very definitive lack of sensitivity or lack of empathy into their brain neurotransmitters. As Steve Hassan called it " dissociative disorder " it's actually a negative mental illness that many Jehovah's Witnesses possess due to the ridiculous WT programming of " we are a people for special possession " or catch phrases like this one - " we are Jehovah's privileged people whom he has chosen ".

This tends to produce people who feel entitled to hold themselves up above all other non-JW's because they feel that they are better than " worldly " people. So any authentic human empathy that JW's once had - gets replaced by the WT cult " view " of empathy which involves mainly only being concerned about JW's welfare. Disgusting.

JW's just naturally assume that non-Witnesses are worthy of being destroyed at Armageddon based on the fact that they aren't " us " - or Jehovah's Witnesses. To show how calloused they are, years ago I saw an elders wife scold her teenage daughter for crying when one of her daughters friends was DFed . She told her, " You are NOT supposed to mourn when someone leaves Jehovah's organization ! " Pretty disgusting.

A year ago when I was trying to see about getting in-home nurses and senior care for my JW mom in her own home with my dad- my JW sister popped up and said, " Oh no ! Flipper we can't have worldly people coming into mom and dad's home to care for her ! They'll steal from mom and dad ! " Needless to say I told my JW sister that she was being ridiculous - that medical professionals wouldn't jeopardize their jobs by stealing from a patient . They are there to care for the patient my mom ! It fell on deaf ears. My mom is still in a senior care facility.

Point I'm making is we see this hardwired insensitivity in most all JW's as it's HOW they think , feel, and live. It saturates their pores. Sick stuff

Why are there so many pedophiles predators in the Watchtower Corporation?

one reason is because the governing body's policies allow them to run loose in the congregation with their secrecy/kangaroo courts.

to keep jehovah's name untarnished(organization sock puppet) they have put the little rank and file member at risk.. one member of the gb was a child molester.. sexual repression also seems to aggravate the situation and make matters worse.. the governing body main concern is not children but how to keep the scam going and so if they can get the victim to shut up and not go to the police as it offers a temporary fix.. etc.....

The pedophiles probably feel like they've hit the jackpot when they find out how the Watchtower deals with child abuse.

The Watchtower is run by puffed up patriarchal old testament style misogynists. Women and children are way less important than men. Women are spiritually weak temptresses (that's why they have asked 7 year old abuse victims what they were wearing).

And a good dose of "Boys will be boys."

I think there's a good chance the Watchtower has more pedophiles per capita than a lot of other religions.

There is something bizarre and alarming about the Watchtower's attitude toward pedophilia. Good illustrations are in the guy's speech and Shadows posts.

A good friend was in particularly insane congregation and trying to warn parents and elders about convicted pedophiles in their hall. The elders refused to even look at copies of the police and prison records (one of these guys was described as an incurable sexual psychopath), and buddied around with these creeps.

Some of those elders constantly bullied and badmouthed my friend. There's so much to that story, it's amazing this person came out with sanity intact.

One single mom made it a point to hand her kid to the pedophile she was warned about in front of my friend. (After running straight to the elders to rat out the evil whistleblower).

This is so frustrating - you just can't get across to people like that. Any threat to their superstitious belief systems gets them angry and defensive. If they want to be that way, fine, but it's so sad for the little kids growing up with it.

I can just picture the jws in the audience nodding their heads to this guy's insane speech. Holy sht.
