How many members left the Watchtower because of all the Hatred and Anti-christian behavior? Were you exposed to betrayal, lies and slander against your family?
by PokerPlayerPhil ini am trying to wrap my head around 2014 and all the evil we experienced while the elders and overseer said "wait on jehovah because that's what all the true believers do!
" and i explained it's too painful to see the wicked people who brought my family suffering giving talks and providing other witness families with instruction we are to use when the end comes.
why are the quite members those who get treated like trash while members who call down evil upon the organization get everything they want so they will keep their mouths shut?.

PHIL- I left the JW organization because of being unjustly treated by elders and receiving very unfair treatment. I met with several elders who were dishonestly accusing me of something that was untrue in the back room before a meeting - and I was so mad at them I wanted to crawl across the table and strangle the $hit out of the youngest elder who was a smart-a$$. Before the meeting I went straight to my seat and picked up my books- walked out the kingdom hall door and never went back again. That was in 2003 - best decision I ever made -

Reports of lower memorial attendance
by thedepressedsoul ini have heard a lot of reports from kingdom halls in the area that there was less than last year, for both time slots.. we had the first time slot and we were down 50+/- compared to last year.
last year we had the lobby full of people standing and this year we had empty seats and no one standing.
we ran out of parking last year and this year we made it.. like i said i am hearing quite a few reports of this from halls in our area.however, somehow the number seem to inch up every year.

DEPRESSED SOUL- Interesting observations. Thanks for sharing with those of us who haven't attended for many years. I am interested in how many are still attending as much of my older JW family is still attending. Many of the younger members of my family ( below 50 years of age ) have stopped attending. I think this is becoming more common to see. Yeah- WT Society will spin their numbers anyway they want to just keep up appearances of the work allegedly " speeding up ". But truth be known- this cult is falling apart at the seams and going to the $hits -

Thoughts on "Going Clear," the Scientology Documentary
by OnTheWayOut ini managed to find a copy of "going clear" on the internet.
i won't post a link because most are loaded with pop-ups and you have to be careful about accidental downloads.
mine was no exception, but i managed to keep the computer clean.

OTWO- My wife and I watched all 2 hours of it on you tube. I thought the producers of this show did an excellent job of exposing Scientology, right down to the violence of the leader David Miscavige who beat his followers. One of the men interviewed even admitted it and talked about the other abuses and violence he eye witnessed. One man mopping up a restroom floor with your tongue as a punishment ? Disgusting. One lady having to clean restroom toilets with a toothbrush as discipline or punishment ? Disgusting again. Scientology is an abusive cult- a criminal organization - like the Jehovah's Witnesses and WT Society in which both organizations take ADVANTAGE of their members unsuspecting nature due to the indoctrination and mind control. Then both of these cults USE this " mind raping " as a technique to financially rape their members as well throughout their lives without members getting ANYTHING out of it. The cults get richer, the members get poorer.
Exposure of these abuses is the best thing to happen. Fortunately lots of these celebrities who were former members came out as a force to reckon with and exposed Scientology in public. Now if we can only get former JW celebrities to do the same to the WT Society it might wake up the public to the many ways the WT Society is abusing it's members. Peace out, mr. Flipper

This was a really, really, really stupid thing to do for these ex-JW's ( I'm assuming they are ex-JW's ) . By proclaiming to the audience as he walks out of the kingdom hall to check HIM out on Facebook all he does is paint himself as the second coming of Christ so people will turn to him for answers. What a freaking nutcase. And a pompous egotist. The JW's will just look at him as another apostate causing trouble, and these are the kind of ex-JW's that cause us sane ex-JW's to get negative feedback from practicing JW's because they're so extreme in their behavior. You could see the JW's there were just trying to ignore him. It accomplished nothing in a positive way. Just reinforces JW's view that we ex-JW's are allegedly " mentally diseased ". Peace out, mr. Fill in the blanks on JW Memorial history
by kairos insorry if this has been covered, i am not able to access the search function since the new site version.. the topic:when did jws start observing instead of partaking?.
i'm embarrassed to admit i don't know this.. i would guess in the early 30's when the little flock/great crowd/we're jw's doctrines were implemented.. please include references to the publications in your answers!.
( did that sound like a desperate plea for comments on the service meeting?

VIDIOT- Really some great points you bring out , kind of how I'm seeing it.
VILLAGE IDIOT- I do know that the attorneys Zalkin and Conti's attorney Rick Simons have been working together on some details of their respective cases against the WT Society, so I'm sure they compare notes and keep each other up to date regarding the WT Society's moves they make

Village Idiot stated, " all they have to do would be to deny such papers exist . " And that is where the WT Society already has blown it- because in Richard Ashe's court deposition for the WT Society he already admitted under oath that the WT Society HAS a file stored in their computer network of the pedophiles within the JW organization. And that's legal testimony recorded in court with the court recorder. So the cat's out of the bag so to speak - WT cannot deny they have it, they've already admitted to it in court. It's just a matter of time when the WT Society will be FORCED to hand over those documents. It's game on- already

Were you or someone you know sexually molested by a Jehovah's Witness ?
by flipper indue to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?
remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.
what about the thousands that don't get caught?

BROKEBACK WATCHTOWER- I totally agree with you. WT Society is running scared right now because they know if the courts force them to hand over the child abuse documents or pedophile database- the ballgame may be over. Especially if the federal government gets involved- which it may come to in Supreme Court in time. The more obstinate and arrogant WT leaders continue to be they are digging their own grave for the JW organization. As you state it's one of the reasons they are selling off a lot of property AND doing a financial takeover of all the kingdom halls. They are desperate because they know the jig is up, they are getting exposed as the criminal organization that they are. Peace out, mr. Flipper -

Every Governing Body Decision is from Jehovah
by B4Right inhow do you convince a jw that every decision that comes from the governing body is not from god?.
my mom who is a pioneer said that the students are getting their work book a month early, then proceeded to say " jehovah knows what we need".. for you who now know ttat what did it take for you?.

B4RIGHT- Ask your mom if it's " Jehovah " guiding the governing body by holy spirit to NOT allow Gerrit Losch to testify in courts about WT child abuse allegations in San Diego ? Ask her if it's " Jehovah's holy spirit " that's guiding the governing body to refuse a court order to release WT documents about 24,000 pedophiles in their organization who are molesting children which the WT Society knows about ? Ask her if it's " Jehovah " who instructs elders to stand in contempt of court by refusing to disclose and share those documents to " Caesars authorities " ? You know - " God's things to God " and " pay back " Caesars things to Caesar " ? Might get her thinking ! Might cause her some cognizant dissonance as well- but that's a good thing because it will get her thinking that the GB DOEs things on it's own apart from " Jehovah's " instruction. Good luck. Peace out, mr. Flipper
