  8. You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40 If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

  haha. too true. i have about 80,000 dollars in tools, and these are still the two most important. lol

  on a side note, something humorous has come up. one of her "friends" that is shunning us because we are "bad association" is sleeping with a married man and doing drugs. i thought that was funny.

  thanks for your responses. i think i'm lucky my family chooses not to look at what i'm really doing. the live and let live thing works good for me.

  so today i talked to my father, sister, and mother. they all know i have major issues with the org. but, choose not to talk about it. i was telling them that when we come to see them in a few weeks, anna's family has chosen to shun us, even though we aren't df'd. all of them thought it was stupid. my mother said, how can a mother do that to her child? i was kind of shocked by their responses. none of them thought it was right. as i said, they know we don't go to meetings, and do not believe.

  so,my question is, do you think they see the truth about the "truth"? or, are they just choosing not to acknowledge my position?

  When was Jesus born?

  the wt always put a lot of importance on the subject that jesus was not born the 25 of dec. now my question is why is there two different stories in the bible about jesus birth?

  in luke 2 there is one story and in matthew there is an other.

  in luke it says that jesus was born during a census when quirinius was governing syria but in matthew it says that he was born when herod the great was still alive.

  i think there is some source that guides the universe. i do not think all this happened by sheer chance.

  but, i do not pretend to know it's name, or claim to know what it wants from us. i feel like if it wanted us to know, it would tell us. i do not believe any of the gods people worship are real. i also think it doesn't matter . it let us know when it wants to. imo.

  sorry for all the "it's", but, to say he or she implies some sort of humanistic being.

  guys, when you are trying to woo a woman, in the early days before you get physically intimate, how do you show your interest in her?

  talk to her. get to know her interest, and show a GENUINE interest in them.

  i also straight up let a woman know i'm interested. dancing around the issue is ridiculous.

  to each his own bro. we need to worry more about the present than what MIGHT happen after we die. i just like to think. i've always been a bit of a jack-ass, and am trying to overcome that with some knowledge and wisdom.

  BigD, Don't study religions, study the different paths humans take to find their answers. Religion itself is too categorical and studying the religion won't reflect the diverse beliefs of the followers.

  i appreciate what you are saying bigwilly. i am only studying different religions, because i am ignorant of them. i do not have alot of knowledge of religions outside of the w.t.s. i am not religious, nor do i think i ever will be. but, for me not to believe in something, or for me to believe in something, i have to understand it first. i also just like to learn.

  i look at people on an individual basis. i totally disagree with some of my best friends on big things like politics and religion. but, i try to see their way of thinking. i have had my mind changed on many issues this way.

  i used to be a raving conservative that hated liberals, until i came to places like this, and spoke to some and saw they were compassionate people. now, i am middle of the road.

  point is, until i know about something, i can't form an opinion on it.
