  Since the last year, how long have you been without a computer or internet?

  i had no internet service for the last 36 hours, and it drove me nuts.. that made me realize how addicted most of us are to the internet.. so, in the last year, what's the longest you've been without going on the internet?.

  I never lost my home computer. If I had, I have three computers at work to chose from. I can access my home IP from work as well as my two myspace accounts and others.

  i don't know how you feel but i am pleased to be part of a community that cares about fellow members.

  although we may not know individuals in person, we get a "sense" of many of our fellow posters especially if we have been here for any length of time.. several of our fellow posters have experienced terrible tragedies that result in financial nightmares.

  i don't know how all of you feel, but i would rather give directly to someone in need than through a charity.

  I to wish to help someone finacially, but how do you protect from frauds. Those already here may be safe, but how about newcomers especially if word got out that there were generous people here?

  Killing Bees

  so this dumb woman calls up an exterminator to complain she has some bees in her yard and they come and kill them!!!!!

  i have bees, i love my bees, they pollenate all my flowers 'cause i raise different kinds of butterflies.

  is this woman mad?

  Honey bee's are protected under federal law. Do you know which type of bee the exterminater killed? Or did the exterminater just remove the bee's?

  How did you spend Sunday?

  i spent mine enjoying a traditional sunday romp in the rural idyll that is england, communing with nature.. this, for those who dont know, translates as getting lots of manure on my shoes, nodding politely at passing ramblers, edging away from the well endowed bull, walking for a couple of miles, limbo-dancing under electric fences, and then fighting for a table along with the countryside's finest and their dogs, tucking into a traditional sunday lunch and a pint, then walking it back off - wondering if i a) i just ate one of the bull's babies and b) if i did, can he smell it?!.

  My avatar is Cloud Strife and Tifa from the Advent Children anime movie and video game. In Final Fantasy VII, Cloud fights the forces of Jenovah. He saves the planet from a disease called the stigma. Something like a depressive disorder. He is killed and then he is resurrected by a woman.

  After watching the movie, I thought the writer or creater of the movie was in some way affiliated with the JWs. I did a search for the writer and found most info available is in Japanese. I'll never know if there is a connection.

  The letters DJK are my initials, first is last. Simple, I try to be simple and sometimes it just doesn't work well.

  because I have no experiences here to draw from.

  From some experiences you have already described, two words flow through my head, REPEAT OFFENDER. Your fears may be very real. Your ex needs something more than a spanking from his parents. At this time the police may not be able to do anything except point you in the right direction to get some action/protection for your daughter's. Take it before your fears become a reality. My two cents worth.

  Did you make a new religion for yourself?

  i'm associating with a church that i like very much, however, i find some things hard to digest, like jesus resurrecting himself.

  i think the father did that, not him.

  anyway, i am thinking that i can just keep associating for social reasons and some religious ones while reading the bible and having my own beliefs based on how i understand the bible and not blindly believe doctrine just because a big church teaches it.
