It is "late" again folks
by Norm inafter the wtc tragedy many jehovah's witnesses on the fringes scurried back to mother in case it was the beginning of the big a. one of the watchtower society favorite themes is how incredibly late it is.
it is in fact always later than you think.
the problem is that most of the people, who believe how late it always is, seem to completely lack the ability to do much thinking.

I applaud you for posting both sides as issues come up. Truly a thinking person, looking at all facts of the matter. My current viewpoint on Blood is that if other means to sustain your life can be found, then use it.
Also, two JW points:
1. That’s what you get for joining the Military
2. That what you get for taking blood. -

Well, the “Farther of the lie” put it this way: “skin in behalf of skin.” However look at Job and look at the three Hebrews who were thrown in the fire, look at Daniel, thrown to the lions, look at the Apostle Paul, beheaded for the good new’s sake—There are persons who do love YHWH and Christ, and would give their life because of the “moral worth” factor (Read Kant for a full discussion on Moral Worth.). The record states other wise...............

PS: I am DA JW and I still serve the One True Living God. As Many apostles showed and Jesus stated that the words of Isaiah “have been fulfilled today,” shows that the best possible blessings have already come to pass!

All sane persons act to save their life, that’s called “Moral Worth.” Job proved that argument untrue many years ago.......

Well, thank God Jesus came and put an end to the “law.” The law is death, because no one can follow it fully

Vitameatavegamin:
With respect, you seem to be comparing apples with oranges: You are talking about works of law (?) Or serving for selfish reasons(?), On the other hand, Mama is talking about working out one’s salvation. Paul has written extensively on the subject of working out salvation.
Works of law, like weekly prescribed acts to obtain God’s favor, is fruitless as the Pharisees showed and which Jesus condemned .

I have to agree with Mama: the Apostle Paul states that we all stand before our master as individuals, not as a group or membership into something.

Don't cooperate with their SHUNNING you!
by bluesapphire inmy dub sister planned this little event to see the lion king.
she invited my two other sisters and their families and purposely left me out.
when my family asked about me, she just shrugged her shoulders -- the little hypocrite couldn't "stumble" them by telling them she was shunning her own sister.

Reading your post really makes me upset at all the legalism and hurt the WT has caused. I feel so ashamed of my past as a JW Elder and the committees I served on.................
