I guess I didn't answer the question. When I was younger (maybe two years ago ) I would say absolutely not.
But I'm working on being less judgemental these days. So I guess it all depends on the reasons for your unhappiness.

I cannot imagine how a "believer" and "non believer" make it work. I know some do. It seems like it would be a lonely life for both parties. I couldn't do it.
I have a JW niece who is married to a non-believer. He is easy going and pretty much let's my family keep his kids from holidays. My niece doesn't put up a fight about birthdays. But they don't seem all that happy. I feel bad for all of them.

no one would give me a heads up on it.
our boe went to their secret squirrel school on boxing day last week so i can only assume its related to that.

Happy new year everybody!

i've always found it funny the reasons why we couldn't celebrate new years and now i've pretty much forgotten.. something about paganism and blah blah blah no part of this world blah blah satan likes it blah blah it makes jehovah sad you know the rest!.

My sister sent me a text with this site. She was trying to be nice thinking she was being encouraging. I swear, they think bc I'm not going to the KH anymore I'm sitting around crying all the time. Crazy nuts but they mean well. I haven't checked it out yet.

Thier discouraging supe bowl parties is nothing new to me. I haven't been to a meeting in over a decade but I remember dubs discouraging SB parties almost every year. Same crap, new day is all.
