then what do the gb get out of all this?.
tim cook (ceo apple) makes around 378 million a year.. donald trump makes around 60 million a year.. i understand the wbts may have vast property holdings, stocks, bonds, and revenue from donations.. but i can't grasp the incentive for the gb to make this stuff up.

This website finally helped me understand the claim of 100% failure rate
by ILoveTTATT inup to about 5 minutes ago... i still had the notion that maybe jw's predicted something and got it right... that the league of nations was going to rise and become the united nations.
i think that jw prophecies/predictions are like a shotgun: shoots many projectiles, one of them has got to hit.
you cannot predict 5 different things and then, when one of them gets partly fulfilled, drop the other 4.5 things, change the 1/2 thing you predicted that was right and make it seem like that was the only thing you predicted, and make the entire one point fit after the fact.. reading watchtower literature throughout the years (1879 till now), and then coming here and getting awesome explanations from people like leolaia and other researchers, i finally understand the claim that most apostate websites make: the wt has a 100% prediction failure rate.. they were lucky that something big happened in 1914... but now i am much wiser and i know that everything they predicted for 1914 did not turn out as they predicted... 1914 has been a date with many different hats... from the start of armageddon, to the beginning of the last days... etc.... thank you very much jwn for completely opening my mind.

Feeling Sick
by FreeGirl2006 injust found out my 12 year old niece got baptized on saturday.
that is the same age i got baptized....as we all know it just should not be allowed.
if a child is not mature enough in other areas of life how can they be mature enough to commit their lives to the borg?

yes, it is sickening to see,,but must have hope,,you left it, I left it tho baptized there at 11 yrs old. Children are leaving in high percentage,,with Internet exposure.. hopefully they are processing things sooner. The organization is getting less desirable more and more.

Interesting Observation by a Coworker
by breakfast of champions inover the past couple years, i've confided my whole "apostate experience" to one of my coworkers, everything from 607 and 1914, to disfellowshipping and being raised with the constant fear my worldly family would die in armageddon.
so he knows the whole witness thing.. anyway, he tells me this experience he had on tuesday:.

Wow, for a jw or even just a bible study,,that would be quite a flip,,with all the books out, makes me think maybe it was a Bible study going on,,can't see how any jws can defend themselves on these past dominant teachings anymore, other than "stuck" mode. Of course, they stuck with 1914, when it went with visible to "invisible." ugh

It just seems if the ones who have been denied to "commune" (partake) on Memorial all these decades, and start to partake that they would 'in time' begin to think that they also should be able to think and have opinions or personal conscience in a 'new' kind of 'personal' relationship with Christ. For the GB to open that door, it will cause the GB extreme trouble of their control.

Big JW Changes in The Netherlands (Holland)
by DeWandelaar innews reached me a couple of days ago of some big changes in the netherlands for jehovah's witnesses.
a letter from the branch office was read in all congregations so it can easily be verified by lurkers and faders who are still visiting the congregations.. big changes:.
- they are going to sell one of the two assembly halls.
