the articles on the jw-cd which only go back to 1950 where we fought back the attacks.
i do not understand why they did not continue to blast our bible since it is such a fraud....down south in usa churches teach members how to refute dubs at their door.....but why did they stop blasting the nwt?
it is sooooooo easy to show a dub there is a bunch of made up crap in it.....i may have to help my local chruches.....if you need more info about the horrible fraud parts, feel free to pm me.........................oompa......even elders dont know
Oompa, it would be good if you could give presentations to some churches. I have seen others post here that had done this. It's an excellent way to protect the public from the WTS and might even indirectly plant some seeds in JWs knocking on doors.
Is the information you have something you could post here in the thread?
over on myspace, i bought up the 5000 page court documents, and they constantally say that those cases were dropped, charges were dropped, etc.
i told them that it wasn't, and it got into a cut n paste fest from various pro jw sites.
i told them this, i can back up what i am saying...if you are too cheap to spend the 30 bucks to buy the cd, i'll torrent it to you!

to the forum, please read even if its long...i want to thank you all.
i remember when i first started posting here, almost one year ago...i had just written letters to evey jw i could find telling them what a bunch of bs the jws were.... most wanted to kill me, including my dad, who called me a fornicator, and called all my friends wanting to know what drug i was on.... i learned that jws will always try and find wrongs in the character who's showing the inconsistiancies, they never will listen to what you're saying just attack your character.
but there have been a few that i've reached; some have even taken a stand with me.. i also learned that people have different circumstances, that i shouldn't judge those that don't take a stand.
I'm glad to hear you are feeling better about your situation. I thought of you today when I was having a 'discussion' with my mother about the pedofiles in the Society. It is just so frustrating. She couldn't take her head out of the sand long enough to hear anything I was saying. I told her I had seen 5000 pages of court documents and she jumped on that with "you must have seen them on one of those apostate places".
Like I told you before, I keep chipping away as I feel I can with them. That will probably do it for a while. I just can't push them the way you are able to.

when i was a teenager, my family and i had the privilege of visiting the watch tower society, receiving an extensive tour as we had longtime friends working there.
while visiting we were walking past a locked chamber with many many books in it that absolutely no one was able to touch or read.
this was literature that was written/published by charles taze russell.
The Watchtower Society no longer teaches most of what is in those old books. However, they are available if you are interested in getting them.

The Paster Russell Anthology has 18,500 pages; 38 different titles including The Divine Plan of the Ages, The Finished Mystery, etc.
Rutherford's Rainbow (2nd Edition) has 8000 pages; 21 titles from The Harp of God (1921) to Children (1941) plus The Revelation (1918), The Way to Paradise (1925) and Angels and Women (1924).

yep, there's no excuse for any of you lot.. if a sister of 106 can auxiliary pioneer last memorial season, so can you.. this ancedote was in the jan km - puke making - what the heck was a 106 year old doing going from door to door, and i mean this literally, not just phone witnessing.. have these people got no sense?

My father is 93 and still drives to every meeting. He has a magazine route and delivers the new A&Ws. He had 2 book studies with 2 elderly men until sometime last year.
The wife of one man kept making her husband cancel the study and finally stopped it. The other man is in a wheelchair and never gets to leave home so he enjoys dad's visit every week. I don't know how much 'studying' they do but they do visit for a couple hours every week.
Dad also reads at the book study. He "cuts & pastes" the changes to the Revelation book every week. He sees absolutely nothing odd that he has to do that. One week he went to sleep during the last prayer and was left sitting there sleeping while everyone else was getting up and leaving. Guess someone finally woke him up and told him to go home.
I have never heard him say anything about having any doubts with the WTBTS. He is completely under their spell.
I'm just wondering if we're going to be able to hold the WTBTS responsible when he has a car accident and kills someone while working for their publishing company since they keep pushing these old people out in service.
what i did was totally out of character for me.
i had a sharp pare of scissors in my hand and i was just so angry.
before i knew what happened i had thrust them forward... over and over... once i finally stopped i just couldn't believe the mess everywhere.

I used to really think it was against the law to cut them off
until one day I actually read the label: "UNDER PENALTY OF LAW THIS TAG NOT TO BE REMOVED EXCEPT BY THE CONSUMER"
Once I realized I am the consumer I knew it was okay but I still have them hanging off stuff all over the house. Every once in a while I go crazy with the scissors too.
