  mr. moe, a little bird told me you know something about goa trance... what gives?!?

  SOMETHING THAT IRRITATES ME

  ok, so it's maby to be viewed as a minor irritation but annoying all the same.

  i can't help getting peed off when i see tv programmes showing music clips and videos that were out when i was in!.

  it makes me sad to think that i missed out on so much good stuff, when all the while i thought i was keeping myself "unspotted" by not having any part of the world!.

  I had to miss out on my high school prom b/c I was home schooled.

  I missed all the cool Cartoons as a kid b/c my mom said they were demonic.

  I missed out on getting to egg some neighbor's house b/c he was too cheap to buy Halloween candy.

  I miss getting to spike the punch at school dances.

  I didn't get to see all those cool Brat Pack movies back when they were cool.

  I couldn't have all that crazy teen sex stuff b/c I couldn't date as a teenager.

  While we're on the teen sex topic. I didn't get to play with Mandy R---'s nice, 34D, round boobs even though she was an Elder's daughter and my parents wouldn't let me have sex. Hell, some worldly guy popped her cherry and got her pregnant. (Dumb dub girl -- she didn't know about condoms...)

  "gettin' out" has been published already in a small college literary magazine.

  Mac: Believe it or not, I almost changed/deleted the line when i was looking over the story before i handed it in to my Fiction writing workshop class. I thought it sounded too like writing, but then at the last moment, I kept it in. Dunno why.

  COMF: Hmm, do you think the pix will work in such a small space? I like it, but I wonder.....

  Edited to add: I'm trying it for a few days, but what do you all think?

  You can call me Justin or "the dustrabbit"...J. Matthew Greene is my pen name.

  Well, only the drawing is something from my childhood. Back in the late 70s, there was a Vietnamese boat family in my nieghborhood (I grew up in a black-majority neighborhood). The little girl brought a drawing to show-and-tell like the one in the story and she said her brother drew it. But that's as far as life and art converges.

  By the way, awhile back I posted in the personal experiences forum two parts of my personal experience...some elements might find their way into fiction in my short story collection.
