  Unbelievable!! Family member at my leasing office!

  ok...i need to vent.

  i just finished writing a letter to my leasing office in regards to my own cousin.

  she is a jw of course, and has lately been less than courteous with us because we are d'ad and i have honestly had enough!

  I agree with Drew and OntheWay, do not mention she is your cousin. Regarding professionalism, that is a moot point, it will muddle the case, and not in your favor.

  Seed Planting Questions That Worked For Me Recently

  i'm a really big eckhart tolle follower, and recently i was rereading a new earth and i showed my dubby this proverb he mentioned, which kind of bothered him when i explained it.. "the hand pointing to the moon is not the moon.".

  he didn't quite get it, so i explained that it basically means that just because a man, or religion, is pointing out god to you, it doesn't mean you worship the man or religion.

  he didn't seem to want to debate it because he didn't have an answer or counter point.. also while explaining the path tolle shows (pragmatic explainations of age-old beliefs, from jesus to buddah, they all said the same things), he said he didn't think tolle believed in god.

  Recently I tried planting a seed of doubt. Our toddler called my husband by his first name and my husband was upset. I asked him why, was it because using his name wasn't as personal as his speical role of "Daddy?" He said yes. Then I said that is how I feel about using God's name. Jesus and his disciples said "Father" or "God" which indicated a close relationship and respect. I was met with silence, but the wheels were turning.

  recent happenings close to home bewilder me by day, terrify me by night.

  i am immersed in the profound waters of doubt and, sometimes, despair, as i struggle swimmingly to a far off shore that itself is encased in black mist.. yet, the shroud of fog does rise.

  i am able to see outward, through the windows to my soul.

  it's true because it happened to me last night.

  i knew it was trouble when she started looking at my kindle.

  once she got to the short stories i wrote 3 years ago, autobiographical, some of it involving her, i knew i wouldn't be going to bed before 1:00 (it was 11:40 p.m. by then).

  I'm still so scared. I know it seems really stupid, but I have lived with so much fear in my life. Afraid of my parents, afraid of elders, afraid of girls, afraid of God. Afraid of my true self, even.

  Dear One, it is NOT STUPID. It is what you have been taught. It is all you have known.

  You very recently extricated yourself from a cult that exists solely out of fear... holds their power through fear, and teaches nothing but fear! You just need to give yourself time to learn new reactions, that's all.
