nightmares after leaving

hello everyone, i have been reading the different topics and haven't seen this discussed..... i was raised in the 'truth' and decided when i was 19 this was not for me...but unfortunately it took years after that to finally make the clean break.

during that time and up until about a year ago, i was having strange and disturbing nightmares..it finally came to a head when i dreamed that i cussed out the elders in the congregation i had left.,..woke up in a sweat but felt great!

has anyone else experienced this?

Well anyway I have nightmares a few times a week still. Usually involving my family telling me they want nothing to do with me, I always wake up crying.

CO talk: "Jehovah's Witnesses killed Jesus"

mentioned in his talk last week that the jews, who had the name "jehovah's witnesses" applied to them, killed jesus.

i found that a particularly revealing admission, simply from the way he said it.

"jehovah's witnesses killed jesus," he said.. he went on to explain that the coveted title of "jehovah's witnesses" was taken from the jews.

Wow, what a stunning comment for a CO to make. I wonder if that was part of the WT approved outline? The first thought I had was that the CO himself was awakening... perhaps he has been lurking here?

Wonderful quality RePrints of Watchtower books and Publications

there are a great many reasons it becomes difficult to "prove" to active jw's that the watchtower society has had an amazing series of crackpot teachings, beliefs and assertions over the years.. first off, the availability of old publications is problematic.

the society has cleverly sucked them out of the libraries of local kingdom halls.

older collectors are often dead or apostate.. ebay can provide steep asking-prices.. but--a few years back, i discovered the availability of reprints in quality self-published form on lulu.com and amazon.. these reprints are beautifully done and easier to read than an old, moth-eaten, mildew-stained yellowy tome from the early era!.

My one addition: Meditate every day... even if it is only for a couple of minutes.

I don't mean to FOCUS, I don't mean to do ANYTHING NEAR what the Watchtower would mean when they use the word "meditate". I mean to learn how to actually QUIET your mind (yes, it can be done and done well, for all of you who think you have tried and decided that you cannot manage to do that!)

Quiet the left side of your brain for a few minutes. Allow the creative, healing, expansive right side of your brain to perceive things for a while.

i just wanted to share this story with everyone:.

last weekend on saturday, my wife found out that field service was not being cancelled due to snow.

all week prior to saturday, my wife kept saying that she was going to swim classes with my daughter and i and actually swim with my daughter that morning.
