Through a Darkened Pane
by compound complex inmy frequent walks these last few years about the neighborhood so familiar to me would ordinarily be construed a pleasant enough non-event.
a little mild exercise - taken in small doses to keep the joints operating properly - and a keen eye peeled for the ever-changing face of nature have rendered the daily promenade a suitable diversion.

Some Great Books
by jgnat ini'm halfway through two books, and both of them together have greatly helped me understand why people are attracted to extreme religious groups like the jehovah's witnesses, and how these organizations manage to stick around...year after year.
i figure understanding why is the start.
if you are waiting for cherished relatives and friends to "see the light", these books might help.

as related in the bible, these man of ancient times, apparently descenced from the heavens (they were angels), having been atracted by women on the earth....for that reason they took form of men, abandoning their original spiritual nature.
that bible account, leaves many perplexed, which is very understandable, if you don t believe in god, but now archaeologist, have found rest of abnormal big skeletons....what at least make you think of the accuracy of the bible.. .

I am not bitter.
I left alone and I was an apologist for them for many, many years. When I found out about the UN scandal, I was devastated... even though I had no intention of ever going back. I could not believe that they could be that brazenly dishonest.
I was very angry for a short time, but that was just a natural part of the healing process.
(seven stages of grief: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%BCbler-Ross_model ) My anger stage was far shorter than my denial stage!I am not bitter now (just very sad for the useless losses) but I am mostly hopeful... hopeful that my beloved family will awaken, and I will not have to endure another loved one dying because of the Watchtower Organization.

I don't know how I knew, but there was absolutely no doubt in my mind.
There is one funny little incident that sticks in my mind: My little cat (who was so shy no one ever saw her) climbed up onto his lap and totally relaxed... as if he had been there and she had known and loved him forever. It was pretty validating to know that she felt it, too.

Remember When Jehovah's Witnesses Took Pride In Themselves?

now, more jws skirt away from expressing what they are and who they represent.
in the old days, you could comment at a meeting and express the research you did on a subject.
