  Would the world be a better place if everyone was JW?

  the back of 'the end of false religion is near!

  ' leaflet makes an interesting claim that in the book 'holocaust politics' published in 2001, says : 'if more people practiced versions of what the jehovah's witnesses preach and practice, the holocaust could have been prevented and genocide would scourge the world no more.'.

  do you believe that is true?

  I think that is where I'm at right now. I have an acknowledgement of a higher power but, not in any religious sense. I think religion is for people who want others to make decisions for them.

  i've been thinking about the above question a lot lately!

  i see so many so-called religious people being hypocritical to the religion they profess to have faith in.

  they may say "hey, i'm only human", as if this excuses their behaviour.

  Doing something for the prize of salvation, is selfishness to the core! We should do things for the right reasons not for what we can get out of it. Shouldn't God reward those who do the right thing because they want to, not because they have to full a requirement!

  Angels & Sexual urges..

  i was reading another thread and wondered why it was that the perfect angels began to have sexual urges???

  i also wondered if the resurrected ones were not to procreate why a loving god would put them on the earth to tease them.

  jthey're going to be perfect too, will they eventually have these urges too, just to be destroyed when it's all said and done.

  They started in on me with these types of questions. I knew I was interested in coming back so I told them it was none of their business. They seemed shocked, but I'm 36 Fin years old I'm not going to go into details of my trists with these guys. Besides they couldn't handle it, it was way to hot!!

  Moving along

  ahhh, my husband just got offered a job in madison and we are moving!!!

  he starts next month.. i'm so excited but yet so scared!

  i grew up here , i know my way around, i know the people, my family is here, i have developed so many memories here...i've finally started making new friends.. yes, our goal was to move eventually, to start over.

  Thats great news!! You should be so excited about the move. Madison is so much fun, plus much closer to Chicago.
